Clan On Leader Board & Max Points

So I'm sitting down watching the leader boards and a clan hits max points so kudos to them and there in first nothing special right? 20mins later another clan hits Max points and is not first place?? Correct me if I'm wrong but what the hell is that about?

Maybe it has to do with who hits the maximum number of points first? It's hard to tell, and to be honest I've kinda lost track of leaderboards and stuff in regards to this event. There's been too much drama and too many exploits to give much of a damn anymore, not that I was really invested in it in the first place.

 

Just assume everything about the event is a big ???.

In shadow clan for example Deus D. Hit max points first so I'd assume they auto win? But then I see Coup jump right into first right after DD got max points first??

They probably had a pretty good idea of how it was going to work until half a dozen exploits popped up and half of their time has been spent managing those and fixing all of them. I admit that some of them were a lack of foresight, but others seem like they'd be impossible to catch before the event was shot out.

 

Honestly, I don't think DE cares all that much about the leaderboards. The event is basically a fun way to motivate us to test out their new (amazing) tilesets and repeat them enough to get a feel for them, as well as finding different bugs so that they can fix them before the tileset ships in full. The winners of the event probably don't matter all too much to them.

This is more of a general talk of how this leaderboard is actually structured, no where near a player helping player no intention of such here. I disapprove of the move.

Hopefully they'll still be awarded as first place winners, and the leaderboards just don't reflect that.

Because the leaderboards don't really handle ties. Though I'm pretty sure that all clans that reach max points will be awarded the first prize trophies, or the trophies will be awarded based on how soon the max was achieved.

how ever why we need even a leader board if it is again mass and not class just hord a bunch of brainless max points accounts = auto win ~.~ 

 

really a skill event and not who get the most alt accounts
