CaveCricket48
The Tenno are already warped with crazy void energy. Enemy in the Tenno in the void could be A) Tenno who went berserk after being twisted by the void and weren't of much use to the Orokin. These were left in the void and they more or less attack everything in sight, even corrupted units. B) Fallen Tenno that have been assimilated into the corrupted forces via the Neural Sentry. They get the fancy gold headpiece thing on top of their helmet.
GRNT
It already exists. Stalker was too noob that he died in Void. It is never implied that Stalker visited the void, in game lore states that Stalker is still a follower of the Orokin, unlike the tenno we play as, who betrayed them
HackShield
you miss understanding there a thing if the orokin corrupt something it dont comes out evil the orokin corrupt the entering "forces" to a stablish a better self def system just to protect it self there is no good or evil we are the intrudors and orokin stats the self defending systems
Taranis49
When a mission fails because everyone died. It's one tenno lost in the void. THAT makes sens. Tenno are not invincible and they can be corrupted like a grineer or corpus or infested... Question, says who? We find Tenno still in their pods within the Void Towers. Stands to reason if they could've been Corrupted, it would've happened sometime in the past few centuries. On the same vein, if they could've simply been mind-controlled by the Neural Sentry, the Orokin probably shouldn't have been made extinct by the Tenno in the first place. (PSN)Swiggey
If I'm not mistaken, Tenno can't be corrupted due to being of Orokin design, no Tenno will ever be able to be taken over by the Neural Sentry. But DE kinda retconned with the Infested ships (not criticizing that, I love the whole Breeding Grounds concept really), so you never know. It sounds like they're adding more stuff to challenge you anyways, like Corrupted Vor, which is awesome to me. So they're finding ways to create the challenge that a corrupted Tenno would present. Brimir
The Tenno are immune to the Neural Sentry's influence (due to themselves being of Orokin origins) just like they are immune to the Technocyte virus (due to carrying their own strain of the virus already). So the chances of us ever seeing Corrupted or Infested Tenno are slim-to-null. /thread Edited June 25, 2014 by Brimir
EDeN153
If they were corrupted they would be evil... "Let's toss in Tenno, who've already been twisted by the void, back in as corrupted enemies! Why? Because reasons!" Pretty much yeah, I don'T get your point... If you would actually pay attention to the lore when making a concept here's what the Tenno are: Tenno are the first few generations of Orokin that went into hiding in the void to get away from the sentients, later on the other Orokin came back into the void and retrieved the first generations. They were twisted and had special powers, the Orokin that found them built the Warframes. The only reason they aren't 'evil' is because they aren't being controlled by the neural sentry, even if they died in the void, their helmet would protect them. The Orokin military tossed the soon-to-be Tenno into the Void as an experiment born out of desperation (the Orokin were all but wiped out by the Sentients at that point). They did not "hide" there. EDIT: Also, most did not actually survive the Void exposure. Edited June 25, 2014 by Brimir

Atomic_Beam
If Tenno are Orokin based and that Orokin void Uses self defenses mechanism like corpus, grineer and infested. They could use Tenno too as their own to protect it... I don'T understand why Orokin would attack their own. (Tenno) If so, that means their not part of Orokin anymore since they not recognize Tenno as friendly anymore. All of this makes no god damn sens... Atomic_Beam
Closed minded how? You could throw out that argument, as I expected, but it doesn't change anything. The Lore has never stated Tenno can be corrupted, but likewise it doesn't say they can't either. Arguing for Lore purposes was the null point in my argument; however it's also the null point in yours.I stated a game design reason, though, being the Tenno are represented only with players and not by AI for the preservation of immersion. And don't attack me because I disagree (or at the very least, your argument comes off as hostile), I was simply stating the purpose of why I don't think this is already in and why I don't think it will get in; to digress though, I don't hate the idea, I think it'd be interesting, but ultimately I don't think it'll be a feature. I said closed minded because you want to trow away a good idea to the garbage just because it does not make sens with a simple game design mechanic. You don't do that man...just don't. You said that We ''never truly die'' that's not true man. We do die! Just because we pop back in the screen menu after, it does not mean that we did not die... Atomic_Beam
I'm saying we don't truly die. We do truly die... The game mechanic puts you back on the menu screen so you can try again... It's like getting killed in GTA by cops and then you pop back in your house and you say that we did not truly died. You fail at logic here. Edited June 25, 2014 by Atomic_Beam
EDeN153
We do truly die... But you can't say that. Because if we do truly die then why are we back at the main screen, same frame, sentinel, weapons, mods, colors n'all that? Why can we keep playing, then? Fine let's just make a game where once you die, you gotta make a new account and restart all over again, because eh? we died, logically we should not be able to play ever again... EDeN153
Then that's still saying we never truly die. There's lore-holes and mechanics that don't agree with each other. My answer is still and will always be No.

And don'T point me out that revive mechanics implying platinums, this is just for DE to make more money...
