Why Do Players Always Leave At Wave 5?

...on Sechura? The players I meet are usually MR10 or higher so I do doubt that they're credit farming even though it is possible. Are they afraid of the new Ospreys and don't want to risk the chance of failing the mission because of that?

 

I mean, what's the deal? Even in the hour I just played, only 2 teams I was in chose to stay till wave 20.

They're likely just credit farming. Also, the rewards don't seem to vary over rounds, so it's likely they just want to take the easy way out and do 5 rounds at a time each time for all the extra creds they make.

Credit farming is the only thing I can assume too... human greed; no matter how much people have, we want more. 

I've met a couple of people who think farming EXP is more efficient that way too :/

It's a little more efficient as you can complete the mission challenges every 5 waves.

Its all cred farming, you get around 20-25k each run so why stay longer

The only reason they would stay to wave 5 is for credit farming. Why would they be afraid of ospreys when they are rank 10?

Well, I think Sechura is one of those Defense nodes that ALWAYS drop Tier 3 rewards from the start, in a similar fashion to Casta on Ceres. Theres really no point in staying more than 5 rounds, they can bag credits and max tier defense rewards every game.

Though we do not have the new infested. Sechura on Ps4 is the same way, as is Hieracon at 5 mins.

 

I just assumed everyone was credit hungry. If I want to go past 5, I play solo.

When I leave at 5 I do it because I want to see how a colour looks, or want to try out a new loadout.

You should stay till after wave 10 because the number of Ancients spawning is ridiculous and 400 exp per rifle kill is a lot better than 100 for all the runners and chargers in the first five waves. Not only that but those first 5 waves are outrageously boring if you repeat them over and over.

Sechura has only two function: Cred and Exp. Higher MR players most likely don't need Exp...

The most common reason i leave at 5 is that im farming credits. other then that its because i get paired with doorway/hallway heroes, or MR0-5 players that shouldnt even be there.

MR16 player. I don't need XP. I just am trying to max all my mods which is a huge credit sink. I always leave at wave 5 because credits come faster that way. I would stay indefinitely if I got 23k per 5 waves.

This commonplace assumption that people with a lot of hours clocked for some reason don't need credits and experience like everyone else is baffling.

 

I'm 15 and I can't recall a single point in time when I didn't need more credits or experience for something.

Credit farming for me too. Staying past 5 is a waste of time, the credit amount does not increase past wave 5.

Not to be a jerk but it's funny how some people think they are just too good or too strong at this game.

 

No, they don't leave because they can't handle it, they leave because they are just farming, the same in ps4.

 

If you were good enough at this mission you wouldn't be complaining at people leaving and you would just doing it solo. 

 

As someone said, go to recruitment tab and ask for help if you can't handle it and you need help.
