This is pretty accurate. In Solo this isn't a big problem, but whenever there's other players they will just kill everything before you're able to so much as scratch them. Needs a late-game buff, better scaling in some way. This goes for most melee weapons honestly, because no melee build can compete with Soma and Ogris and the likes in the super late game.

I still like using Hysteria to solo most bosses though. Say what you will about the exceptionally poor scaling of the damage output, but sometimes simply not dying is very useful.

Yeah I know, but I don't know how much that will help unless they make the damage scale in some way. Maybe add the effects of all the mods on your regular melee weapons directly to the claws? I mean to remember that there was something along these lines going on already, but things like say, elemental mods don't seem to affect the claws at all.
