I-Am-MoMoJoJo Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 (edited) Hi everyone, I have a high resolution monitor that is relatively large and since getting it I've noticed that the UI doesn't scale well. I have so much screen real estate and the menus of the game are confined to a box in the middle of my screen. Honestly this is a minor thing but it would be nice to have, being able to see more at once and having it not obstruct other things would make the game just that much better to play. Is anyone else up for this suggestion? EDIT: The recent UI in update 14 has made this happen for the most part yes, but it is still an issue in some of the UI sections. The mission complete screen is a prime example for this, and I think they have overcompensated a little here. In the arsenal, I found that certain weapons have all their stats mashed up together, now I cant read a few of their stats. This means I can't mod my weapons properly because I can't see the impact it's making anymore. When looking at these other UI segments, (that's all I can really think to call them), I see that its filled my screen, with a small number of items. The foundry is a good example of this, I see 6 things at a time, 6, really, I could easily fit 20 and it wouldn't be a problem. So... yea, it's bigger but it doesn't take advantage of that extra space. At least its something though but I think the arsenal really needs to be changed along with the mission complete screen because that's just game breaking at the moment. So I feel like this is still a valid post in that respect. I am sure many fellow Tenno (I did not mean to rime here, I swear), would agree that the new UI needs a serous second look at for numerous issue aside from this as well. So I'm interested to see what DE come up with for this, because I hope it's something good. Edited July 19, 2014 by I-Am-MoMoJoJo
egregiousRac Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 U14 will replace the menu with one integrated into the worldspace on the player's ship. This should make things scale.
