(PSN)JohnMboya Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 (edited) Been playing Ash for a while (He is my Fav frame) and been reading a lot on the forum about a lot of suggestions for a lot of Warframes. Just thought id integrate some ideas that came up to me when reading those threads in order to make Ash IMO more competitive. I will mainly focus on two powers. Teleport and Smokescreen. I could not think of anything on Bladestorm that has not been suggested so Il leave it for now. Smokescreen. I believe smokescreen should have somewhat of a CC ability with a Status proc incooperated within it. Right now it only offers a 1s stun which is really not viable in group play. If revamped the skill will be affected by Power Range (CC effect area), Duration mods (Smokescreen duration) and Strength mods (Status chance). The CC effect A) When Ash Casts SS, the area he casted it is covered with smoke and the enemies who are caught in that area are stunned until fired upon - They remain in the confused/blinded animation loop for the duration of smokescreen. Or B) When Ash casts SS, the area he casted is covered with smoke and enemies who run into this area become disoriented and attack randomly within the affected area and move very slowly. The shots fired can damage other enemies or the tenno, however, because they are somewhat blinded, the probability of damage to others is significantly lower. The Status proc. When the ability is cast, there is a 10% chance (affected by Power strength and could be lowered if 10% is too high) the enemies will be afflicted with the Viral status. Teleport Since the DEs seem against free teleport and a lot of people have complained about the finisher state and how slow Teleport is lately, it seems neither will be happy. I would suggest the best of both. Make teleport be able to target anything that is scannable and can be aimed within the Iron sight and the Dot of the sight (i.e. within the semi circle or pinpoint in the center for different effects) Iron sight aiming. If an enemy falls under the Iron sight - the semi circle, then Ash can teleport to the enemy without putting them within a finisher state. Pinpoint aiming. If an enemy falls under the small dot and Ash uses teleport, the enemy is put in a finisher state and Ash executes a finisher if needed (would require a buff to finisher damage IMO). Note: If buffing the finisher damage wont do, then make it so Teleport has a finisher damage modifier that is affected by power strength. Let me know what you guys think. Just realised...
