Based On My Playstyle I Should Go For....

Question

Posted

Nyx and Vauban? I am on the process of building Nyx right now (a little over a day left)

As I have been playing this game for almost two weeks, my favorite missions are where you have to defend something and get an opportunity to get to extraction every 5 waves.

As some of you know, I use Excalibur now. My problem is that I have a hard time reviving people because I have basically nothing to distract the enemy with. I like warframes who can simply distract the enemy for a while, enough time for me to revive someone.

I'm not the type of person who likes taking all the kills in defense missions, I try to save people in defense missions when I can but it's just hard for me right now.

Radial blind.

^ Indeed.

But, due to your playstyle, it would seem as if Nyx would be the best fit for you. If you want something to distract, you've got Chaos. If you want to take some heat of the cryopod, you've got Absorb. And then Mind Control comes into play here, but yes, Nyx seems good for you.

Nyx is probably your best bet straight off, she has much more versatility in missions than vauban does and has clutch abilities that can help out more often.

Vauban is the king of point defense, however in more mobile game modes he isn't as great, since most of his abilities are very stationary and work over a period of time. Plus for vauban to be amazing he either needs to be facing infested or have Loki support

Nyx is nice, but if you prefer male frames like me, I suggest you to get a Loki, or use your radial blind well.

Vauban is nice, but it doesn't suit your style as Vaubans always stand close to the pod.

Please be aware of what weapons you bring when using Loki, bring either a nice primary or melee.

We're up all night to get Loki.
