Dojo Terminals: Grey Screen

Sometimes when activating terminal dojos (to use for decorations and such) it'll open up the normal screen, as usual, then instantly fade into the grey of the screen's background, no buttons, nothing; just grey.

 

It can't be closed or exited by clicking or by keys, and the game has to be restarted. I don't know of any specific cause. It just happens.

 

If anyone has figured out how to get out of it without exiting the game, I'd love to know.

AFAIK it's a UI lockup caused by calling the same UI repeatedly. Did you perchance activate it more than once? Lag can cause a delay between activating a UI and it being called up, you should just press it once and wait.

 

And AFAIK, there's no other reliable way to get out outside of killing the process and restarting. I got out of it once, but I couldn't replicate it since.

It's happened when I've accidentally double-tapped X on the terminal, but it also seems to happen when I don't :s

Guess it must be from weird lag, then. It's only happened when I double-press.

 

Honestly, I hope they fix UI lockups soon, what with ship replacing frontend menus. I don't wanna be super paranoid in my own ship and wait for five minutes after pressing a button.
