VegetableBasket Posted June 26, 2014 Share Posted June 26, 2014 (edited) If (civil?) gloating threads are now legal I just want to dedicate this one to thecolin- Thecolin- was the #1 player in this event, having the highest stink in the game, and tied for best score with his clanmates. He would've had the highest best score if he ran a solo mission, but victory was something he didn't mind sharing. That's the kind of guy he was. Because of scoring changes, he no longer has his leaderboard position. DE support refused to refund the plat he spent on revives after breaking the level cap, and meeting his unfortunate end to level 9999 turrets during missions with security hives. His friends estimated he grinded for over 40 hours in a row at one point, running on no sleep with no sign of letting up.May his 300 plat rest in peace. No matter who the leaderboards say is #1, we will never forget him. His story was one of selflessness and tragedy. Art by Yuikami Also grats to everyone else who earned #1 in their tier, don't take for granted that your victory will be archived for the next generations of grinders to see. It was on a bugs thread where he got mad when I said Godspeed at the end of my posts.All was resolved, he probably only was tired from the grind, and I was there, so why not let it all out on me.
