Okay so I know how you can't have more than 5 grenades out at once before a detonation is needed to use more, I get that.

 

Magazine Capacity for this weapon gives you more before a reload, but you still can't have more than 5 out at once.

 

Say I had 6 in the magazine before a reload is needed instead of 5, if I pop each grenade one by one, can I go all the way to the 6th before a forced reload?

Forced reload only occurs when the magazine is empty, and always occurs.

 

Not sure of the meaning of the question, but you can fire that 6th grenade as long as fewer than 5 are live in the environment. You will not get a forced reload if you have the remaining grenade in the chamber with 5 in the map.

Alright so I can put magazine capacity on a penta and just pop the nades one at a time so I don't have to reload as often?

You can technically kick six grenades out with Split Chamber.

 

But five is the normal 'limit.' I use my penta as an airburst grenade launcher so having grenades on the ground is an alien concept to me.

Same. Headshots with the blasts. Only way to use this weapon.

anyone who lets them fall to the ground is doing it wrong.
