Well now the Stance!... A stance to use 1-hand melee weapon or just daggers with the 1-hand secondary in trade of recoil because you don't have both hand in the weapon, no aim down the sight trade Rmb for channeling (and make that more useful i not saying channeling isn't useful but you know...), no block and E for melee. Some points here: *maybe auto parry could work? *life-steal just melee? *remove like -10% of channeling efficiency making channeling cards "a most have on melee" maybe? *reduce stamina penalty because of channeling debuff? *probability of making only melee build kinda of not necessary...buff only melee stances?put some status?or debuff secondary and melle stances reducing damage? accuracy? *what could be considerate a 1-hand weapon i mean what i think is not a 1-hand brakk, marelok, seer, detron, acrid, castanas and angstrum, and maybe kunai, despair e hikou i want that with melee but i don't now if they is like a dual ou could be a 1 hand too. *whatever you put in the discussion Imagine the combos:E-[melee type atk] Lmb-[shoot] <--- kinda of obvious XD. -Examples: -- E[slash], E[slash] Hold E[stomach Stab grapple] Lmb [retrieve target from the blade, chance to knockdown?] -- E[Keep closer stab or slash] Lmb[shoot] [repeat] {could be the normal combo like EEE but continue util the magazine is empty} -- E[slash] E[slash] E[slash] E[slash] hold E[stab making like a grip] hold Lmb [will make a animation to make tenno jump off auto aim the target and shoot util you hold the trigger depend of the magazine]{maybe put some stun chance reducing with the RoF of the weapon when a Lex with 1.00 RoF have a 50% chance a viper with 58.0 RoF have 1% chance?} i love Dante's body surf attack could be like stab and surf the body when you shoot but is warframe and i think make no sense but would be awesome!!! i have more ideas but i want to know what you guys think of that. I would prefer it simply to be a function ala quick Melee but quick shoot with the secondary. This is why i pretend to be 1 hand to 1 hand or only daggers, dual and heavy melee should not have that option and quickmelee? i think in that too but i think the best option is hold then together to have that debuff and make single sidearms and "1 hand" melee weapon a option to "end or mid game range" and maximize the dps of both weapon over the damage and give more option to players... the truth is i hate when the game "forces" the player to use some weapons a doubt someone use sidearms like single viper, afuris, magnun, vasto etc to use in game like a weapon and not only to get the achievement i rly want to have more options and not only mareloks, brakks/detrons, angstruns (this one is op jesus put some formas and take mag and you can deal 145k damage on bosses every reload), castanas and akbroncos prime on high lvls is the same to primary i only see pentas, dreads (some times paris prime), soma and amprex or a burston prime and melee resume to dragon nikana, jat kittag and dual ichor or zoren and hardly use channeling builds ... I know is not a absolute true i know, but if you want good weapons where you can deal with void IV resume to that. For example i love tigris she give a challenge to use but even having the highest damage among the shotguns with drakoon make no sense in use there no advantage in all if you wan short range just take amprex she can deal like 4k damage/sec in a chain using a side or shotguns make no sense and ammo is not rly a problem u can take rifle scavenger and mutation and problem solve... well i get a bit to far but that is another reason right there if a stance can make my favorite weapons be more useful and give more option and fun why not? i don't care to get a litle crazy on the combos that's the part of the fun isn't? I was thinking you could do like a 2 or more player combo where one player grabs an enemy and another could do a critical hit on them with an animation similar to a stealth takedown with some cool decapitation like pinning an ancient to the ground while a second tenno stabs it in the head. or you could grab humanoid enemies to do a pointblank headshots by holding them and pressing the fire button wihtout aiming while the secondary is equipped. kunai could be repeated stabs and other more bulky sidearms could have more elaborate moves that pin an opponent to the ground with a foot and shoot them in the face or something. grappling anyway. it would be a good tradeoff between critical high damage hits and being stationary and vurnerable to enemy attacks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
