Rapier And Spears

So far there is no sword that deals high puncture damage, why is there no rapier so we have at least one melee that deals high puncture damage, besides wouldn't it be fun to poke enemies with your sword. Yet I also find it odd that there are staves and yet no spears. I just want a weapon to poke my enemies to death. 

Who here wants to see a rapier or a spear added to warframe?

My clanmates were saying the same thing today about swords and rapiers, i think they haven't done it yet because it would need a stance only for it(since you can't use slashing combos from the sword stances with a rapier).

But it would be fun to have one or two.

I doubt that is the reason as DE have shown an eager willingness to make new animations for small things like a single new weapon.

Yeah but the valkyr new combo and the venka claws even if not the same probaly use the same mechanics, a rapier/spear stance would need a total new one, since all weapons that isn't sparring/claw only swing the $h1t out of it ._.
