Mind Control No Longer Works On Capture Targets?

Not sure if this is bug or intended. I've used to always run capture missions with Nyx and use MC on the targets, but I just did a Void capture and the controlled target was still having his normal behaviour, running away and trying to lock himself.

Just did a capture run on mercury to test it out, and the results were a little weird, firstly when I approached one from the back after shooting a few grineer not far from him, I got a stealth prompt (a shame I didn't use it), after I walked in front of his face he started shooting at me (not running away, he just started shooting me, and holding his ground), then I mc's him and he stopped shooting, and received some minor damage(it's still mercury) from an enemy unit.

 

(tested it solo, got a good connection, however I'm receiving that 'dns lookup failed', but it doesn't appear to affect solo play.
