Possible Issue With Dark Dagger And Hysteria

Every time I use the Hysteria ability on Valkyr while having the Dark Dagger equipped, her attack speed while in Hysteria drops down so extremely slow that it's like she's stuck in super slow motion while attacking. I'm not sure if this happens with any other dagger types but I know it doesn't happen with any other of the melee weapons equipped that I own (Glaive, Gram, Jaw Sword, Kama, or Lecta). I've tried going into Hysteria with the Dagger equipped as the primary weapon, my actual primary weapon equipped and my secondary weapon equipped and it happens each time. I've also tried the dagger with and without mods and it still happens. (By equipped I mean having Valkyr holding the weapon)
