Ps4 Crashes During In Games While Playing Warframe ///urgent!\\\

Before I start this is only occuring on warframe ive already tested this on other games, I also seperated the posts for a easier read hope this helps.

 

the problem...
   

 

Ever since the last update after the spectors of liberty event my warframe is constantly crashing my entire ps4 system so ive came to ask about how and why its happened when im playing with mainly female warframes such as valkyr (hysteria seems to cause the most crashes)and saryn (happened while i had jumped once)even nyx (absorb)on the sechura mission once. Usually the crash happens on ocassion and completly crashes my system ive sent 6 error reports to sony but i figured that you guys are probably better at solving these problems. I will update this post when another crash occurs.

 

waframes affected...

 

hydroid -during a tentacle swarm- *this just crashed the game not the system*

valkyr-many times while using hysteria as well as her other frame abilitys seems at its worse when combining hysteria with warcry while using ripline.

saryn-occured while jumping a single time i had just entered a game.

nyx- while using absorb

 

missions that seem to be the most prominent  culprits that ive had the most trouble -this may just be because i play these missions more often-

 

 

regarding setup...

 

My current ps4 setup was attached to a outlet after placing the cord from a power strip to try to fix the crashing issue. This is a very strange issue and its gotten me wondering if its Digital extremes side or my side.

 

Posiblities....

If it is just the game then it might just be that certain warframe abilitys tend to cause issues regarding overloading the ps4 as for the instance when i was playing as saryn if its my side  there may be some sort of currupted data for these frames so I may just reinstall instead but im worried I may make it worse.

Seems like your PS4 is unable to handle the RAM required. Are you running any applications in the background? I have not experienced any crashing issues with any of these warframes or abilities. I have however seen small drops in FPS. 

 

The only ability to ever crash me recently is Vortex in combination with Amprex.

Please go ahead and completely unplug your ps4 system from the power outlet. Give it some seconds and then reconnect your whole setup. This should fix any memory leaks. Like the guy above me said the only crash that i am having also is vortex with a combination of amprex (this problem has been acknowledged by DE ). Anything else is probably a issue with the system's memory allocation itself.

 

 

NOTE: - Going forward try to close every application that you use on your ps4 before playing the game. If you still have problems, then you should contact sony support.

i am currently running nothing in the background i just open warframe and when im done i exit the game. also i have tried the unplugging method it seemed to fix the crashing slightly but from time to time i still get crashes like today with saryn

Play other graphics intensive games (like battlefield or killzone) right after warframe crashes and see if you encounter a crash again. If yes, then its definitely your ps4 system and contacting sony support would probably help (may be the RAM in your ps4 has issues). If its only happening with warframe then its definitely a memory allocation issue with the game. Try reinstalling warframe clean from scratch if you haven't done already.

tested it with the other free ps4 games such as warthunder and blacklight ive also tested it with outlast no issues there and im posting a support ticket thanks. Also i just uninstalled it seems to be working fine ill have to bring out the more lag heavy frames.

Honestly the amount of crashing has gotten less. I remember the game would crash so often while playing Voids, and just random survival missions. I haven't been playing much anymore, but the few times I've played recently I haven't crashed.

I don't know if this topic is closed but after the recent update 14.5, I have played as Valkyr and two times using Hysteria, the game crashed. I never encountered this problem before, but perhaps that's because when I used Valkyr last it was before they buffed/changed the way Hysteria looks and now it requires a lot more FPS involved it seems. Both times I was in an invested dark sector defense and the game crashed so I had to close the application and lose all progress.
