What's The Best Sniper Rifle In The Game?

Hey guys. I know sniper rifles are not great in this game, I have Dread, Paris Prime and Marelok and all of them do so much damage it made snipers seems like they're useless. I just want a sniper that's fun to use, and have somewhat good damage. So what do you guys recommend? ;)

Same thing with Lanka. Except you have to build it first, which is an effort equal to all the formas you put into Vectis.

And then you need to forma Lanka too, so I suggest Vectis aswell.

Lanka is quite good since it has Electricity which mods into Radiation (vs high lvl Grinier) Corrosive (infested and low lvl Grinier)
and Magnetic (Corpus)

Vectis is also good, however if you can get over constant reloading.

I would not recommend Vulkar. 4 second reload makes it feel really sluggish for me. But that may be fine for you.

Power, has innate electricity dmg however the need of the corpus tech lab in your clan's dojo is an annoying factor.

A sup par sniper. Good dmg, good accuracy however the reload time is atrocious (4 seconds…ugh)

I'm expecting a Vectis Prime to be coming out around the time of the sniper buff. Note how the prime weapons are being spread between different types of primary/secondary/melee, most notably (ignore founder stuff) each melee prime is a different type according to stance compatibility.

Vulkar is the worst GUN in the game, let alone sniper.

I think Vectis is the best sniper rifle, if you don't have a Snipetron Vandal (that has a bit less damage but a 6 rounds magazine and more high reload speed). But consider that, if you want to use it properly, you need Primed Chamber. 
I think that Charged Chamber is just a waste of slot for +40% damage. 100%, instead, is very good. 

 

So, if you have that mod, use Vectis. If you don't have it but have Snipetron Vandal, use it. If you don't have both of them, Lanka is your choice. With (as said before) high elemental damages and a critical build of course (Point Strike, Vital Sense and so on).

I'm hoping Lanka could get a huge buff because of it's research costs. I got it and it was a huge disapointment to me.

Get Vectis. 

How much are the snipers going to get buffed anyways? 4x?
