GONZI2013 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Who remembers the Gorgon pre-nerf? It was beautiful wasn't it? first shot always pinpoint accurate high critical chance and still accurate. Last but not least was the sound it made, overtime I heard that Gorgon enter the room the sound sent shivers down my spine. Now it's just an weak gun that is so inaccurate that the safest place to be is in front of the barrel. DE I have heard from you multiple time that you want to make any many weapons in the game viable to use Anne frankly the gorgon isn't. Will returning the Gorgon to it's original stats make it usful again? Yes. Will it make it OP? with guns like the Soma, Synapse, Boltor P and Paris P I wouldn't consider it. DE you and only you have the power to bring back Lady gorgon back to it's former glory. Please make me and several other users happy.
Vaskadar Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I kinda wish they'd address the numbers inflation that's been going on since the introduction of the Soma. Just higher and higher numbers.
Somedude1000 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Personally, i believe they changed gorgons numbers so that the game feels more balanced, after all, high fire rate + high crit on the gorgon would make it feel too similar to the soma imo Godspeed :D

Nemo1776 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 change the soma like 10 dmg 20% crit and 2.0 crit dmg and problem is fixed, this is balance so we can avoid power creep
RancidTurnip1603 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 change the soma like 10 dmg 20% crit and 2.0 crit dmg and problem is fixed, this is balance so we can avoid power creep That's an overnerf if I've ever seen one. :P
ASH_PRIME Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Gorgon Wraith means there's very little chance of a Gorgon Buff...It's a shame because modded right [-Recoil Mod and all 3 event status mods] makes the GW one of the most enjoyable and status % lethal weapons around.
Methanoid Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 the gorgon cant get any better because a better gorgon is exactly why the soma was invented, a direct upgrade.
Basilisk1991 Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 I kinda wish they'd address the numbers inflation that's been going on since the introduction of the Soma. Just higher and higher numbers. You mean the Power Creep? the gorgon cant get any better because a better gorgon is exactly why the soma was invented, a direct upgrade. I can see how you'd reach that conclusion. but I disagree mainly because one is extremely accurate and built around crit damage specifically where as the other one is about supressive fire and plain physical damage. Aside from the fact that they both have large clips and a minor spooling time they feel and look completely different.
Marthrym Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 (edited) Nerf every weapon to Braton level. Then work your way up from there (with all the elements, procs, and projectile types, man we could have some diversity, fun AND usefulness all combined! Oh and, more loadouts too...^^'). Also, utterly destroy enemy scaling. And again, work your way up from there (same logic as weapons). Lots of work, tears and blood will be shed, but the end result will be a long runner game that can actually... run for a long time.^^ Also, no more power creep.^^ Edited June 29, 2014 by Marthrym
(PSN)Lord_Gremlin Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Gorgon Wraith seems nice enough. Essentially with Gorgon you sacrifice some damage for ability to stunlock enemy from shooting back at you, while with, say, Boltor Prime that lvl 70 Heavy Gunner will keep shooting back. Impact damage + high proc chance, don't underestimate it. Also, if you slap desert camo skin on it and use some nice pink colors it looks like a giant.. Nevermind.
Warriorrogue Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 change the soma like 10 dmg 20% crit and 2.0 crit dmg and problem is fixed, this is balance so we can avoid power creep And then there's still the other weapons more powerful then gorgon. Gorgon needs a buff much more then soma needs a nerf.

(PSN)jdnmason2142 Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 i think that the gorgon is a very weak and i did not have the pleasure of playing with before they nerfed it. what i would like to is the gorgon be a lethal weapon that can do more damage to the gineer, at the moment the gorgon is just a gun with really high fire rate (after the windup) and very slow reload speed, if you don't change the damage out put at least change the reload speed or give us a mod beside fast hands to put on our gun
DoomsDayDan Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 At the very least give Gorgon/GWraith its original sound back, I seem to recall Wraiths and Vandals having different sounds to the originals so there's room to bring back the epic chain gun noise without making the sound team feel bad about their hard work creating the new sound
OrphanMaker Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 DEVS CHANGE THE SOUND BACK!!! To talk about nerf they even nerfed the sound. **why was it nerfed in the first place**
ScorchedIce Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Powercreep Call it what it is. The example on that page about Warframe sounds full of butthurt IMO.
