Prime Farming Burnout

Anyone is in the same boat as me ?

I took quite a lot of breaks this year from WF, but after ember prime farm, my spark and enjoyment for grinding have completely gone.

Still haven't tried to farm rhino prime or loki prime, won't try any other new primes in the future.

idk, i always had fun playing warframe... but maybe it's just because i have a close group of friends to enjoy the game with

i can't imagine myself grinding prime parts alone xD

i take huge breaks simply because of school but i have a method in which I load up on Plat if its a prime access and then i simply purchase what i need. 2k Plat will last you a fairly long time and sometimes it takes the bother out of farming.

I hate farming in general especially when its simply designed to keep you playing via grind walls.

in the end it ends up being your time, or your money

Trust me, Shezo, I know the prime farming burn. With the Loki prime I got so sick and tired of seeing Fusion cores in T4 that I turned to trading. I never before turned to it. T4 seems overbloated and after farming and getting T4 Survival keys and the insulting amount of fusion cores as a  drop (about 66%)  I felt insulted and I got the parts I needed from someone who suffered through all of it, or maybe was just more lucky.

Thought it must be said I've only ever taken one break from warframe, after that I've been consistently getting on daily.

Farming will indeed burn you out

used up 40pcs of t1 exterm keys just for that wyrm prime piece but no luck.

imagine the time ive spent collecting the 40pcs of t1 exterm keys which is 10 HOURS. (more because survival drop is random key)

The time this game will take out of you if you don't use plat is

HUUUUUGGGGEEEEEE

im so burned out i cant even do a mission.

RNGrind is everything in this game unfortunately... That and apparently now DE likes to put duplicates on top of it just to further mess with the players... Yay. All that for the sake of selling Prime Packs... Well, can't really blame them for it, I guess.^^'

I stopped grinding a while ago. Because it's not even grinding anymore, it's just "flip a coin" now... No sense of progression/reward. Either you're EXTREMELY lucky/have money to "waste", or you're screwed.^^'

Oh my freaking god I burned out after the Ember Prime grind as well!

Well... I still had a little bit of grinding willpower left in me, which explains why I have all prime gear except Ankyros. I hate those "Sock 'em Boppers", therefore I'm not in any immediate rush to obtain them.

My set load out consists of Ember Prime, Braton/Boltor Prime, Lex Prime and Glaive Prime. Just recently got Wyrm Prime so you can add that in there too.

It's not like it's impossible to fix the problem with the extreme tediousness of the grinding in Warframe. DE could simply have the void missions award tokens that can then be used to purchase the parts that just refuse to drop for you.

For example you could get 1 token for T1 and 4 for T4 and have every prime piece cost ~100 of them.

It might still take time, but at least you know that you'll get there at some point and don't have to pray to the evil gods of RNG any more.

Right now it feels almost as if you'd just constantly flip a one armed bandit that you pay with lots and lots of time and fun... The problem is that not even hitting a jackpot can change the player's mood any more after grinding for ages.
