KirukaChan
I had a random thought, sort of inspired by an ability that Zero has in Mega Man Zero 3. Normally, when he grabs a wall, he'll slide down it automatically, just like we Tenno do. However, if Zero equips the armor that makes his body lighter, and also the boots that let him slide down walls more slowly, he actually gains the ability to cling to walls without sliding down them. At that point, you can just press and hold Down on the D-pad to slide down for as long as you want, and he goes back to clinging in place when you stop pressing down. How about letting Tenno do that? At the height of our wall run, we could just cling to the spot, and use (for example) the crouch key to slide down if necessary. In the options menu, we could choose whether to hold the crouch key to slide, or to hold it to stick (this would allow the players who don't want to use this particular feature to not have to deal with it at all). By clinging and not moving, we could also recover stamina while on the wall. This would give more options to snipers looking for a better vantage point, as well as Penta/Ogris/Stug/Castanas users staying away from their own blasts. Warframes with single-hand ranged abilities like Volt, Ember, and Frost would also have access to them while clinging, just as they do now, also giving those frames more options. Anything we can do while sliding down a wall now, we could also do while sticking. In terms of balance, Grineer, Corpus, and Corrupted units as well as assassins would still be able to shoot at us. Even being far above ground, a stationary target is still an easy one if there are no allies or other distractions around. As for Infested, they're pretty physically apt, so why not give Chargers, Runners and Leapers vertical jump attacks that knock us onto our asses if we're getting too cocky and camping near a ceiling? Additionally, extend the range of the Ancients' straight punch ONLY for the purposes of attacking wall-clinging Tenno, and give it the same knockdown effect that their slaps have (but no energy drain for the Disruptors on that particular move; they still have to knock us over FIRST before attempting to drain our energy). Farting Ospreys would also be able to fly up and poison us. As for the Crawlers? Let them crawl on the wall; let them treat walls exactly as they treat floors now, and drop back down as they please. Not only would that serve to make sure they're not helpless against sticky Tenno, but it will give them more options overall. They could ambush us from over a doorway as we enter a room. As it stands, Crawlers are slow and weak, and something like this could make them more interesting. So...thoughts, anybody?

Krion112
I'd be more willing to use the parkour elements of Warframe if I could stick to walls like this. Even if it was a mod or something, I'd hunt it down and use it. Always wanted to stick to a wall and use a sniper rifle at long range, like on open area maps. I enjoy using my Vectis or Vulkar on the Void maps, since the ceilings are so high up. Nothing says "badass" quite like one-handing a sniper rifle. It's just annoying having to climb all the way back up after something like 10-20 seconds.
