Fire your Ballistas and Snipers already, they can't even hit me from 10 feet away.

Ask the whole Corpus Board for their Sniper Crewmen accuracy training.

After all, Frohd Bek is not the sole person in charge of all the Sniper Crewmen.

I think they've tried to learn too much from the Stormtroopers.

I think the AI might need an adjustment with firing distance, now that you mention it. Enemies on Earth (or somewhere with very long sightlines) will shoot at the player when there is technically line of sight, while not hitting anything. Meanwhile, I think its rare for a sniper class enemy to shoot from that far. They should be programmed to maximize distance when possible - and boost their accuracy some. It should feel threatening to be anywhere beyond 50 yards downrange of a sniper.

Not really.

There are quite a few reasons why Stormtroopers are bad at aiming:

1. Poor helmet vision.

2. Restrictive armour compared to the Phase II clone armour (Phase I was also restrictive, but less than Stormtrooper armour).

3. Faulty laser crystals in the E-11 Blasters.

4. Recruited Stormtroopers tend to have worse accuracy than Jango-clone stormtroopers.

5. They were told specifically not to aim at and kill the essential targets (which happens to be the main characters).

6. Faulty targeting receptacle in the helmet systems.

Those are just a few. Some people may have more.

The Corpus do not have requirements 2, 3, maybe 4, and 5, while the Grineer do not have requirements 1, 3, 5, and 6, so their snipers should hit their target fairly often.

Well said, I rest my case.
