Niryco Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) I am beginning to suspect that many of the devs events, removal of content with reason and most without is actually applicable to the development of the current lore. I will try to string them together to try and understand how the whole event is actually unfolding right infront of our faces. We are all part of the story right now. WarFrame Story Mega Spoiler Day one of warframe, all our tenno brothers awoke, starting a string of history that would have much uncertainty. We rose as a pesky little threat but which were no match to what the corpus or the grineer were facing after the great war they had been recovering from. Slowly we rose to become an even more dangerous unit, and thus the grineer and corpus took focus. On May the 3rd, the weekend extermination began, well it could also be the beginning of the end. Update 7.10 was the first time story was introduced into the game, how so? Corpus started fighting back, the Fusion moas were introduced, however if you notice it is very different to all other unit types of the Corpus except Raptor. Both units have golden projectiles and mines, both come with a semi sleek body finishes and even the media tab on wiki shows the raptor being white (probably original design) when taunting users. This could simply means both units are prototyped/experimental orokin technology stolen and reinvented by the corpus. On that same day within the universe of warframe a whole chain of events has started, where Corpus now have access to the place we now call the void. This kick started what we can call is the Void/orokin Arms race. Both Corpus and Grineer factions are now trying to get their hands on Orokin technology to either beat each other or even the pesky Tenno treat that has been rising in their world. Tenno on the other hand were given dangles of weapons and technology, like pigs led with a carrot stick. The Lotus would respond to each and every single request for the balance and order. One faithful day, Lotus's team of "i-don't-really-know-a-name-to-give-them" found rare artifacts, each with the ability to influence the very factions we fought. Tenno were dispatched to guard these shipments and fought all forces, though we might question why the infested joined? Probably a story oversight? I don't know too unless the infested has a hive mind. So the artifacts could be translated each as a corrosive substance to Grineer Armor, A disruptive technology of Corpus shields and an agent that slowed down the infested. This further pushed the corpus and the grineer to put their act together and try to overcome the Tenno. Then came the next event. The grineer being so desperate needed information, they were losing in a war that the corpus was winning and that they faced the threat of extinction similar to their past when they were not allowed to clone, from the dreadful tenno. Thus they embarked on spying, producing the informants. These tiny machines would gather surveillance information, but i believe that we were sent to them as a ruse. What this means is that either the grineer themselves or the corpus tipped the lotus that Grineer have spying technology and are looking to steal information. Either way, both whichever faction tipped the lotus off(most likely corpus as we got a snipetron vandal which is a corpus reward as they were soon phasing out their oldest weapon in their arensal, the snipetron), the desired effect was reached because we destroyed those only within the grineer bases. What is so important about this you may ask? Well both the corpus and the lotus played right into the Queens' hand. While we were busy destroying those within their bases, other surveillance drones would have been off spying at the corpus, learning how they got their orokin technology and maybe spying on the lotus and the tenno as well. Let's Quote the Grineer "Our grip is tightening. Soon our dominance will be unchallenged. Your majesties." -- the twin Queens. Everyone played into their hands. Now The Queens decided to give someone the power and knowledge to scavenge this new Oroking technology, to bring the grineer to become a superior power. Who else did they give it to but the one who was the closest to the Source of orokin Technology, well none other than Vor. (If you didn't know he was revamped 1 week just after the event ended). Now look what we have here, it is a Orokin key wielding vor..... WAIT WHAT?! Does that mean the grineer has taken a lead in the race?! Oh yes they have. And what is more they have acquired the seer. What does this mean? Well this means the grineer is catching up and they are going all out to beat the corpus and tenno. In the face of this problem the tenno now face a much stronger enemy having harness the powers of the orokin both for themselves. And since any technological or arms race advantage can be lost within a short span of time, as we have learnt in the past world wars, oh the grineer decided they should start their initiative to wipe out their greatest enemy who controlled their operations, the corpus! However Vor was not always so successful. "You were right, the Tenno threat is real. We found one drifting near Pluto but the Lotus knew we were coming. She purged the Cryo moments before we had them and sent a squad of Tenno to break our assault. "They escaped. We are working on tracing them. Separate this Tenno from the flock and it should be easy to kill. We shattered its Warframe and expect such an abrupt Cryo purge will have damaged its memories. We anxiously await punishment for failing this task." - Vor. Looks like we know who maybe the Queens' favourite by now, Oh Dear YuiKami looks like you have a rival, or unless you are one of the queens, hue hue hue! And onto the next part of our adventure through time. About 3 weeks later...... "HONORABLE BOARDTHE DOGS ARE BARKING AGAIN. THEYSOMEHOW FIGURED OUT WE HAVEBEEN STOCKPILING. THIS UPSETS THEMGIVEN HOW WE HAVE BEEN TIGHTENINGTHE LEASH ON THEIR CONTRACTS. THESISTERS ARE DEMANDING WE LOWEROUR MATERIAL PRICES OR SUFFERRETRIBUTION BY SOME NEWSUPERSHIP THEY HAVE. OBVIOUSLY,THEY DO NOT TEACH ECONOMICS ATOBEDIENCE TRAINING.MY RECOMMENDATION RAISE THEPRICES: CALL THE DOGS BLUFF...AND LAUGH WHEN THE IMAGINARYFOMORIAN SHIPS DO NOT SHOW UPAND DO NOT DISRUPT OURSTOCKPILES."ALAD V,GRINEER RELATIONS Looks like the corpus think it is a bluff by the Grineer, this means one thing, everyone was played very well by the Grineer and they still hold the initiative in this assault. Oh Was Alad V so wrong, the grineer were really gearing for war from technology they have stolen from the Corpus and the lotus. Also if you had an eye for art and know some history,Fomorian ships look more like ,if you would like to agree with me, orokin based technology and the word Fomorian which relates to Formoire", referencing a semi-divine race, which just happens to be the orokin technology probably salvaged by Vor as part of the update, "Vor's Revenge." Hue Hue Hue, the word plays and intentions are so good, what dramatic irony on DE's side. Also we get to see some Corpus action with the orokin based drone, Raptor during this period of time. Looks like everyone is flexing their orokin arms muscles. So now we are here to help the corpus, to help the balance, but yet again we are going to do something that would dramatically alter and affect the history of the game. So let us take this slowly, since Alad V knows what fuel they are supplying the Grineer "supposedly", the solution would come about to sabotage the reactors with infested mixed fuel. So we go on killing infested of planets like jupiter and what not, unknowing weakening their faction as they are slowly pushed out of the solar system. This means we have been played another time but it was also an opportunity that probably came up by surprise to non other than Alad V. Why this is so i shall explain later. So we go on massacring infested and destroying Fomorian ships. Now let us quote unfortunate DE: " Operation Sling-Stone was "designed for the community to fail". The merit in having the community fail an event was supposedly to prove that it was possible to fail at all, thus instilling further events with the kind of urgency and importance that was originally intended." Yep it was a David VS Goliath battle, we were meant to lose, we won by chance if you could say. I am not sure if Sling Stone is a reference to David and Goliath's battle but it seems apt for this discussion, and they were right, it was really designed to fail because the Grineer had the upper hand. So now who comes out on top is non-other than the corpus. Oh when can the tenno win? Dear Alad V is luckily a loud mouth. A week later :"How do we hide it? The Tenno, with their Eyeless Slag, will squeeze it from our Scouts. They already know our methods from their capture missions. Data viruses distributed among our flock will not hold them off. Hiding the Grineer base and collecting our fees requires escalation. My plan is simple; gather our Scouts and Navigators and launch them into the Void. This has two benefits: The Betrayers will be hard-pressed to assemble the co-ordinate data, and if they do, they will place themselves at great risk aboard a conventional craft within the Void Storm. If the board approves, I will divide our flock into 3 groups and begin. It pains me to help the dogs in this way, but as always profit numbs the feeling" - Alad V. Well well well, looks like Alad V has been a very nice double agent, both to the corpus and the Grineer, that money grubbing scrub! Despite nearly being killed, he still wants to extort money out of the grineer and may even have been the one to help the grineer spy out information regarding the orokin. Alad V thus becomes more pivotal among the board in our warframe verse. However right now everything that he worked for is going to come crumbling down, the tenno are going to snatch his beloved profit.... and so he hides it in the void. He rather this information get destroyed then to simply have it be in the hands of the tenno. This would mean there is more to this than simply money. Alot more and which even as i am typing this now have hardly a clue. If anyone could shed some light, i would be so please to hear what you have to say. Or maybe it is because Alad V does not want anyone nosing in his territory asking for compensation, well i don't really know either. (Well it would be because after re-reading what i was typing, he was protecting his research on both BeeCloud and Zanuka projects) So then we have the survival mission event, although hardly notable, we are now enroaching on a weakened grineers supply cache and a dismayed corpuses profits. We have now become raiders. After both factions have been thrown out of whack, the ending of the survival event weekend is nicely put "Reward-ening" Sounds like reward ending.... what reward? Probably weakening of both factions, or maybe it is what we can call peace? So with a month to recuperate, both factions soon start their next big hit on each other, sad it was a good time gone down the drain. The Gradivus dilemma. However before the Gradivus Dilemma, we get the introduction of the orokin derelict ships. The last safe haven for the infested as they are slowly pushed/(phased) out of the solar system. Why were they phased out? Well good question, even i don't know, but i suspect it is lore related. So now the shadows of the dead. Now we go on to face the mighty Lephantis! Now he is a growth of technocyte gone uncontrolled, the ruling infested within the ship, ships that were possibly invaded by the corpus and the grineer with the weapon codenamed "BeeCloud". The only possible reason to this is that simply after both factions had access to the void, they release or tested BeeCloud on several orokin based ships. Though how long they might have been given to do their evil deeds is another questionable insight. However the most likely culprit if the corpus in this sense as they are regarded as they most technologically advanced faction. So moving on(oh man i feel so tired having typed this for 4 hours, i should make this a post in progression? NAH!) Before we talk about beecloud which is actually A.K.A Technocyte virus, we shall continue with the orokin Arms race. So now fighting the tenno has to make a heartbreaking choice, save a fellow tenno or save innocent civilians. In the end we chose to save ourselves, selfish? Well maybe not so... however we did change history and stop further fighting... for the time being. We destroyed Alad V, its armada and its war efforts, revealing its secret. Pushing the Corpus back, we don't want anyone to have our power, so we save ourselves and to prevent any of them from acquiring weapons of devastating power, warframes. Also colonies ruled by grineers went unnoticed, so they are pleased as it goes on, in this portion we realise that the Queens are now out of the picture, so theses battles that are taking place would be minor and is used to introduce Alad V to our current lore. After this battle Alad V's fundings were withdrawn and the one man army fighting effort has proven to Alad's downfall. Also his previous screw up in the Arid Fear, well his simplistic and materialistic desire as such, has left him with an opening, an achilles heel which we would strike to recover Valkyr thanks to Frohd Bek as well. As the unfortunate weakened infested gets pushed out, Alad's Gas city comes into view. Now after update 10, the story does slow down alot during the period update 11. Damn i am so tired and the story has gone abit without motivation at the link established above. With Alad V on the run with his embarrassing failure, we stumble on his gas city. In the trailer, he resorts to auctioning out warframe technology which he had been stockpiling so precariously to fund his experiments and Zanuka. Learning this Frohd Beck(another corpus board men, think like a manager equal to Alad V) feared that if Alad V succeeded, he would be Chairman of the Corpus and make all headway with whatever evil plans (which seem to be anti profiteering) and so sent ships to destroy Alad, however Alad used the unadvanced BeeCloud to stop Frohd Beck (all this petty rivalry). Thus DE gave all normal players a get away excuse to eliminate the innocent infested out of the system, unaware that their actions would simply result in the eradication of infested from the entire solar system. So once the infested has been pushed out we get the co-ordinates to valkyr, save valkyr from Alad v's fetishes and money grubbing fingers and end Zanuka. Well now that has happened Zanuka seems to be chasing tenno endlessly after that oh well. Also we stopped a prominent member within the board of the corpus, and looks like it and its actions have been put to rest for now. Though i wonder is this the last we would see Alad V or would he rise again? As much as we all can see, the story has moved away from orokin based arms race since the introduction of Alad V, and now it has become a real struggle for survival for each and their own. However BeeCloud is slowly rising in prominence as we speak which i would get to. So now Valkyr has been unleashed, we get to see a hysteria of the issue, both grineer and corpus are doing their best to survive this chaos and protect their beloved interest, tenno is running rampant and restoring balance "supposedly". It is like mobile suit gundam 00 but with less tricks now compared to the start. So we move on to The Cicero crisis after Alad V's utter demise. In the Cicero crisis, we defend Earth from Vay Hek's poisoning, because simply he is trying to set up base. Well i can't tell you much about Cicero as i am not well read on his personally. However as much of his success seems to go that so was his linguist accomplishments and philosophical ones as well, i can only come to a conclusion that the removal of land "trees" in warframe is in relation to a great dilemma he made while supporting the oligarchies.... which probably meant going against the wishes of the queens. Thus we were probably sent/tipped off by the queens to stop Vay Hek, though it would be quite odd as to why the queens did not want him to reform the land unless he planned to hide himself from the surveying eyes of the queens whom disapproved of his actions to overthrow most likely her, so this is also open to interpretation by you guys. After the Cicero crisis we have the Oxium exchange Espionage. We finally get back to some Orokin Arms race in the Oxium Exchange which has clearly been stalled since the Dilemma and the chasing of Alad V. Thus one assumption we could make is that Alad V warring cost the boards alot of money and with it out of the picture corpus can finally resume orokin research. However as Tenno we decide to steal that technology rather than stop the corpus from yield it, which is also questionable in nature. Although we get flappy zephyr and zephyr, that might be more behind this "exchange". Whoever supplied the intel, well the lotus surely didn't get this for balance, rather for her own and our own profit. So a question to plot for yourself here is what is their aims for partaking in this exchange, the ones who supplied us with the information. Well the most likely supplier is the grineer and them not wanting any corpus expansion in orokin based weaponary again, but it seems there is more to this than that and it is something that might even be pointless to question. Lotus is holding shady deals as it seems which is most likely, though i wonder what is the real purpose of all this. Regarding Oxium Espionage (It's espionage not exchange sorry) I guess due to your mix-up with the event name your lore interpretation isn't so accurate. The only exchange I can infer is information about the corpus having Oxium, and that's it. But it is most likely that the Grineer gave us that info and wants us to sabotage the Corpus (tenno playing into Grineer hands again). However, it also means that the Corpus are winning the Techonology race between the two factions due to the fact that they got Orokin metal and their Ospreys are high-tech as (#*$ With additional input thanks to MeowTezu, it would affirm closely that the Lotus are working with the Grineer to stop the Corpus from expanding their firepower, although this lead us to question how ethical is the lotus, or if she has any ethical view at all. So with this new episode, the story has become quite mysterious. We could say that episode update 10 was a little war that was waged and now we are in the aftermath period. Tethra doom however shows that it is not over yet, the enemies fomorian ships have yet to meet its end. So with Vay Heks desire to renew a fighting force to conquer the system, it has now risen him to a status of evil world dominator, well atleast for now. So we rush to act, to stop him from producing his massive fleet and we succeeded. This information on the tethra doom project we gained from ties that bind alert mission. a Mini lore related mission, father son struggle. Darvo as we get hates this business world he works in and seeks profit elsewhere, although it does get into a small argument between father and son and Darvo's imprisonment, we get in on the Tethra Doom's project (well at least Fhrod Bek is smart enough not to agitate us). We also learn that well Vay Hek is still being supplied by the Corpus, that they are working together. Thus it can even be said that well he may even be trying to over throw the queens. So what is not to say that when the queens tried to stop him early in the cicero crisis was well met with a change in game plans. So we hunt down Vay Hek as he tries to hide behind his persecutors, oh how cute..... well he was killed many times over and over again, and this time we restored balance.... for the queens. Now the queens stand in rule and power, safe at their throne from rebellious subordinates like vay hek. With that the next operation began to save the red veil. A growing resistance movement they say, and a faction in the distant future. Well it does seem like we finally made a trustworthy ally, for now. However we won't know until the distant future has come, would the red veil use our powers for their own gains or work with us to ensure balance? This is for the possible future and as much as it goes, i have a feeling that we are going to be played by them for their own gains. Although they despise control by both dominating super powers, it is clear they are trying to gain independence. Also like every power that gains independence, they would usually establish a foothold and become a major power and us another pawn in their midst (unless they decide to be a good natured city which only exist in games). It would be interesting to see how they develop. Following that we have suspicious shipments as a next mini mission, also clearly with the recent "Infested invasions" the corpus would want to throw away their containers of Beecloud right? Why? Because they are the reason why invasions even happen. The infested invade ships when there is a "spillage/leakage" of the contents of BeeCloud, thus leading to a contagious spread and a whole infested invasion. Also given that we have cleared most of the infested of the solar system by now, the grineer and Corpus would have already moved in to acquire their samples, ensuring their foothold in the next arms race but only the smart ones would be trying to remove them because they have been more a trouble than their worth, however the BeeCloud Arms race would still take place. For a long time both factions already possessed BeeCloud, but both are equally afraid to use it and weaponize it because of the chance of an outbreak and infestation which is hard to quell. With that the corpus board men decided to ban its use, but Alad V hadn't had his last laugh yet. He survived our previous onslaught and now is going to use BeeCloud to advance his arsenal and army, he therefore Weaponizes BeeCloud which as a new strain, stronger and more potent then the last. And with that the DE Devs get away with it again, by saying that it allows for new enemy types. So far with all this lore being played and most of which are given to the tenno to decide the history since update 7, i should say we have to be wary of our options. The recent operation breeding ground we get to know Alad V is going to strike back soon and hasn't had his last laugh. This first wave of Weaponized BeeCloud already has had a very strong impact and what is not to say he would do the same with what he did for Zanuka and Valkyr which is the auctioning off them for credits and protection money. Oh the event was just a mere demostration of what we are going to expect. Now that the Queens' are busy with their fleet, ensuring alad V do not over throw her, our corpus buddies are into their personal affairs with Frohd Bek and his son Darvo, and Alad V with his mighty weapons, what is to say that now is the perfect time to strike with the advanced BeeCloud? Conclusion and questions: Though many questions still pose on the events of oxium exchange and on the Cicero crisis. Who supplied us the information and to what end did they do it for? Did our actions accomplish the aims they set out to do? We would never know. Also we can fairly reason here that Arid Fear was probably a very big business venture that held Alad V's research efforts together so he might have feared its lost, as it would mean it would also affect the future he had sculpted to beauty. What of Darvo and Frohd Bek? Will Father and son see together in a family's embrace or inevitably part ways to never meet again? Where so is the red veil and would they finally be our trusted allies or use us like what the rest have done? The end Authors notes. Well it is all up to DE and us to decide how the story proceeds. BeeCloud weapons arms race and Orokin Arms race which both have become messed up, i truly wonder where we are headed. And now after 6 hours i am stumped. I can't process much anymore and i have to say good bye. Oh enjoy reading this mega text wall. There is no TL;DR, This is already as good as it gets, the real thing lasted for a good 12 months of story, this is only about 6 hours of typing which summarizes 12 months, so that is your TL;DR for you. Anyways as the lore goes, DE has always been adding lore and allowing us to decide its path, the history of warframes are nice to speculate about but they are just like myths and legends, like pandora's box and what not. What is important is what is happening now, and for us as tenno to understand that all our actions have grave consequences. Although i have to admit the events consequences have been degrading as of late and story as well. I hope much more can be done to improve them but let see where all this is headed with so many stories being told at one time. Thank you and good night... it is 4 am at my side, oh the darkness, EMBRACE ME! Credits to: InfuriatedPlayer & MeowTezu for helping to improve the post. Player interpretations: I would have to say the Red Veil will abandon us once they grow strong. But then we shall have to help them now until they are large enough to handle themselves, then we have to treat them as enemies. I am not too sure about them as they merely stated that they hated Grineer and Corpus but didn't say they want balance. The only thing in common with them is that we don't like the other factions. And Rakta (from rakta syandana) is the name of a Buddha that is also known as "The Red Enemy Of Death". He has two forms, red and black (Rakta Syandana again) LOOK AT THAT Red Veil, Red enemy of death? Rakta Syandana? It says the syandana was given only to people with exemplary valor. What is this "valor"? Killing the most enemies? Perceived contradiction: Frohd Bek has contacted a genetic lab researcher in Elara (Jupiter, where Alad V resides) about getting a Kubrow fit for an Orokin prince (meaning he wants the Kubrow to be perfect), despite the fact that Frohd Bek despises Alad V and his practices (Biotics research), and the fact that only Alad V's troops/people are in Jupiter. Justification: Frohd Bek himself is interested in obtaining a Kubrow (from what he knew about the Orokin from the Corpus libraries and such [since the Corpus does search around the Orokin constructs, and thus would have retrieved quite a bit of knowledge about the Orokin]), but does not have the technology/research to do so, nor do any other members of the Board (and the fact that they dislike Biotics [if Alad V is to be trusted]). Having some of his insiders working with Alad V (because the Corpus Board are composed of a bunch of backstabbing and suspicious people who always want to keep tabs on other people to gain the upper hand in negotiations), he managed to retrieve information from them and knew Alad V knows quite a bit about Biotics, and has set a group of researchers to research in Biotics (the Infestation, genetics etc.). Thus, his desire overpowering his distaste towards Alad V's practices, he contacted the researchers and asked if any of them would be able to create a perfect Kubrow, but in secret, so as to not alert the other members of the Board about this and revoke his position. A researcher contacted him back and said he could do it, and thus started his role in helping Frohd Bek create the perfect Kubrow (of course, maybe with a few pieces of blackmail to smooth things along). vicwarrior Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) *Slowly claping* Man that was a big read but man did it enligthen me in the overall state of events. If i was to chose the events that will drive warframe's story it would either be: -Destroy SAlad and his improved BeeCloud/infestation and get the grineer to also ditch their BeeCloud and take the infested out of the equation. -Do completely the oposite thing and take some of Salad's BeeCloud and create outbreaks everywhere and destroy everything and let the infested take over the solar system, just because some poeple like to watch the world solar system to burn get infested. Niryco Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 (edited) b-but.. this is in the wrong section. it is? I didn't really know, all i wanted is to well tell the story as it is now and link them up and since there are some loop holes and mysteries, i don't mind if you can help me do the linking too. *Slowly claping* Man that was a big read but man did it enligthen me in the overall state of events. NickelDare Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 I think once BeeCloud is really used as a Weapon on Full-Scale we can say for sure that we'll lose the outer planets to the Infestation. Would be a cool new Envoironment. Not only this lightly Infested Corpus/Grineer Outbreak but a Completely Infested Planet with a new set of Enemys(Native Flying Enemys? Envoironment Hazards like Poisenous Water/Plants?)I think the Infested will get a big role in or possibly after U14!

(PSN)infuriatedplayer Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 (edited) Just a quick note. There are two grineer queens which i think may be sisters. For proof listen to vay hek's various taunts on earth such as ' are QUEENS demand justice'. Edit for clarity- i only said there are 2 queens as you said there was a single queen several times in your lore analysis. Edited July 14, 2014 by (PS4)infuriatedplayer

For proof listen to vay hek's various taunts on earth such as ' are QUEENS demand justice'. Edit for clarity- i only said there are 2 queens as you said there was a single queen several times in your lore analysis. Queens? Didn't i write Queens? Ah ok, i see at some parts my punctuation for Queen's should be Queens and some of the queens were left as queen. Sorry for the grammatical oversight. Thank you for the informing.

Flaming_Snake Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 I'll get to that in a minute, but would you consider bullet points? Just for... you know. The lazy people? That I swear isn't me? Maybe?
RavenousPartyLibrarian Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Some mayor and minor inaccuracies, sure, but it's nice to see someone take such interest in the lore.

I may try.... when i am not as lazy either. Would have to re-read abit to try and find relevant bullet points. Some mayor and minor inaccuracies, sure, but it's nice to see someone take such interest in the lore. Please clarify them with me as all these events are supposed to be link and consequent to one another. I would love to hear on your view points especially so to maybe point out certain glaring issues and maybe possible questions of what else we can expect, or best yet the direction the whole story is headed.

arch111 Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Amazing work! Great effort. You sum up many things quite good. I heard of beecloud from a translation. Allso Hivemind, not explained yet right? Allso we will have the Moon soon. And I expect the new faction will be invading right after that. Oh, lets not forget the rail at Pluto, will it lead to a blue star? And surely Vor is not done yet.

Lucky_Miss Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I commend you on putting your time in writing this. I can't even write 300 words without sleeping. Your lore is soo in depth, unlike most others who just state "hurr durr alad v gets infested means gon get outbreak" and just stop there, you go from the first event :D Regarding Oxium Espionage (It's espionage not exchange sorry) I guess due to your mix-up with the event name your lore interpretation isn't so accurate. The only exchange I can infer is information about the corpus having Oxium, and that's it. But it is most likely that the Grineer gave us that info and wants us to sabotage the Corpus (tenno playing into Grineer hands again). However, it also means that the Corpus are winning the Techonology race between the two factions due to the fact that they got Orokin metal and their Ospreys are high-tech as (#*$ I would have to say the Red Veil will abandon us once they grow strong. Okay maybe my thinking is wrong, but you get the point.

I know what you mean, it is so interesting to see how all the current events are unfolding and links to everything that is about to happen or is happening. There is no doubt that the red veil abandoning us, or worse even using us like how the grineer or corpus did during the gravdius dilemma or other mod based events like the informant event just opens doors of opportunity. Also the oxium espionage is scarce on info, i based most of the info i can get on the wiki. Also thank you for the addition insight, i will incorporate it when i can.
Niryco Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 Added a few stuff and made some changes. Thanks to everyone so far for viewing and helping to clean up this lore thread!
Renegade343 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Would it be applicable if I place my justification here for why Frohd Bek contacted a Corpus scientist in Jupiter about getting a Kubrow 'fit for an Orokin prince', despite Alad V and his group being exiled from the Corpus?
Niryco Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 Would it be applicable if I place my justification here for why Frohd Bek contacted a Corpus scientist in Jupiter about getting a Kubrow 'fit for an Orokin prince', despite Alad V and his group being exiled from the Corpus? That would be your interpretation and would fall under the player interpretation section. Also by all means, go ahead =D Would love to hear what you have.
Renegade343 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 That would be your interpretation and would fall under the player interpretation section. Also by all means, go ahead =D Would love to hear what you have. Here it is: Perceived contradiction: Frohd Bek has contacted a genetic lab researcher in Elara (Jupiter, where Alad V resides) about getting a Kubrow fit for an Orokin prince (meaning he wants the Kubrow to be perfect), despite the fact that Frohd Bek despises Alad V and his practices (Biotics research), and the fact that only Alad V's troops/people are in Jupiter.
Guest Tehnoobshow Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Lore does not exist. You can pretend it does, but it doesn't.

Thank you for your interpretation, will include it in the main post =D Lore does not exist. You can pretend it does, but it doesn't. If current lore didn't exist we wouldn't have events that we did. If lore didn't exist we wouldn't have codex entries regarding histories of tenno. If Lore didn't exist than we should not be looking towards a future that these events are actually accumulating in momentum, because the fact is that all these events lead from one to another and are named nicely after roman-greek mythology at times. If Lore didn't exist, than we shouldn't have vor chasing us. If Lore didn't exist the queens should not be our worry. IF LORE DIDN'T EXIST, WHY THE HECK ARE WE CHASING ALAD V? IF LORE DIDN'T EXIST WHY ARE THERE FOMORIAN SHIPS THAT WE STOP? IF LORE DIDN'T EXIST WHY WAS THERE A TEASER TRAILER REGARDING THE QUEENS CONTACTING VOR ABOUT WHAT IS ABOUT TO COME? IF LORE DIDN'T EXIST WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE RED VEIL?! If Lore didn't exist, this game wouldn't exist at all because i bet you don't know what lore means. Lore is simply the knowledge or subject matter of a topic. If it didn't exist, your game won't exist and stop diluting the meaning of words with preconceived definitions! Lore: the body of knowledge, especially of a traditional, anecdotal, or popular nature, on a particular subject: the lore of herbs. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/lore Don't say lore doesn't exist, if it didn't you shouldn't even be playing this game with bosses of their own or enemy types or even factions. This game also has a story but it is one that is very mysterious and totally up to our interpretation, don't shoo away your opportunity to influence the story of this game, this could probably be the first and only game where the story is actually persistent, probably the only persistent world model that has a story that progresses and is time limited. One of a kind in the world and never replayable are our events and as such is our stories and the weight of our actions sealed within history firmly!
