an Anti-Faction Mod is pretty much the best thing you can put on any Weapon, save for Multishot / overall Damage Increase.

that being said, i almost never use them, because they're a pain to use, too much swapping Mods between Missions.

so i'd go with Hammershot on a Bow most definitely.

and IIRC, an Anti-Faction Mod 'wins' over Heavy Caliber by 3% or something(in a situation assuming you're using Serration already).

For Void it can definitely increase damage against gunners but Cold damage provides better overall damage output.  Likewise for specific factions a Bane mod provides more total damage.  So no, Hammershot is not a must on a bow, but it is useful at times.

Out of the three, if you have to only use one, Heavy Calibur will give you the most damage per shot. It will render your bow ineffective at long ranges though, so Hammershot is a better choice in terms of overall use. Bane will give you the least dmg out of the three, so it's better to not use it.

Hammer Shot adds 27.27% damage and a bit of status (think its 10% per arrow?) while Bane adds 30%.

I'm not a fan of HCal on bows; getting that 4x damage headshot is more important than dealing ~25% more damage, imo.

Yeah, that's the main issue with Heavy Calibur. If you can pull off those headshots though, it does do the most dmg. But yeah, Hammershot will be best overall.

I'm not a big fan of anti-faction mods myself, but mostly because I feel like elemental combos can do the job better, and I almost never have extra room to slap a Bane mod on; I generally prefer Hammer Shot or Heavy Caliber when looking for more damage, especially since I wouldn't want to use a Bane mod in the Void anyways. Most of the content that actually requires more powerful builds is in the Void, so I tend to ignore the Bane mods.
