New ''ogris'' (Glaive Prime Build)

May I present you, Glaive Prime! (normal Glaive and Kestrel should work as well)

 

I don't know when Power Throw got updated, but it now make the Glaive Explode on its last bounce. That combined with Maxed Quick return, the Glaive Explodes every time it hits a surface. I was popping up some pretty big numbers in ODD with this build here:

 

 

When you combine that with Loki's invisibility the damage could be compared to the damage of Penta and Ogris.

I would assume it's not a bug, it probably would of been removed by now. We've had Melee 2.0 for awhile.

Not bug. After a bit of research, I think the explosion on Power Throw was indeed intended.

The glaivesplosion has been in since U13. And yes, it is caused by Power Throw.

Indeed, it also can kill you easily if it approaches a box corner you might be hiding behind if you need to suddenly duck for cover. Its very painful to say the least.

No, it isn't. Been here since day 1 of Melee 2.0, as well as there being a bit of forum discussion about it. The devs are listening, yet they're not doing anything about it.

As long as normal charge attack isn't available on melee mode while using gleaming talon, I won't be doing those combos much. :/
