Question

Hi guys,

I have a question. There are a lot of different Aura mods with a lot of different polarities so, isn't better to use a Forma to remove the polarity of Aura slot on Warframes?
I mean, Auras however give more points so, isn't better to do it to have a greater flexibility?

No. Having an aura that fits the polarity greatly increases mod capacity. Unless you are willing to forma the crap out of your frame so you can afford to miss out on the 7 points, it's better to find an aura you really like and then forma your frame to accommodate it.

I don't know if the difference is really worth it. I guess if you switch auras all the time then it could be useful. But you could also simply set your warframes in a way that each one is built to use a different aura. For example, building Excalibur for Rifle Amp, Saryn for Rejuvenation, Ember for Infested Impedance and so on. You end up switching warframes instead of switching auras and can still benefit from the polarity bonus.

All the good auras are - polarity, atm.

Rejuv has been made obsolete by Life Strike and Corrosive Projection is a better damage amp than any of the weapon amp mods. Steel Charge is really the only non - polarity ever worth using, for the extra 4 points and an okay melee bump (especially against non-armored enemies)

Aura Slots, are basically the opposite of all the other slots, while another slot takes 10 mod points off a Vitality for instance, a 5 mod point aura, put into the matching aura slot, can grant 10 extra mod points, instead of taking away 10 points

Let's take Energy Siphon

With the proper - Polarity you gain an extra 14 mod points when maxed.

Without the polarity/wrong polarity you only gain 7 points

Yes, I was talking about the 'favourite' Warframe, the one who's played frequently by a player (for me, it's my Excalibur Prime, waiting for Necros Prime).
I use 3-4 Formas on it (3 " slots, 3 D, 2 V and 1 -) so I don't really need those 5-6-7 point more given by Aura. Instead, consider that it's the main Frame, I need flexibility(for example, Steel Charge if I'm playing against Infested, Rejuvenation for Nightmare, Corrosive Projection or Sniper Scavenger when I use sniper rifles et cetera).

Of course I don't even think about use Formas on Frames I don't use generally.
