Question About Purchases Made On Steam

If I purchase the Warframe Initiate Pack on Steam, would i be given a code, or will the pack be automatically be given to the linked account on Steam? I would much rather prefer a code, since I do not feel comfortable linking my Warframe account to my Steam account, knowing that it can't be reversible.

It's transferred directly to the account the next time you start the game.

Steam counts the packs as a dlc. The only way to get the steam packs are to download the game through steam, launch warframe from steam with your warframe account and link it. Then buy the pack and it will automatically be added to your warframe account.
