Renegade343
still oberon is next to rhino in flexibility no new player should have that much power But at least it is a more difficult version of Rhino, at in terms of using it correctly.
blackstraykitten
But at least it is a more difficult version of Rhino, at in terms of using it correctly. it would still be better if trinity physical type - excal skill type - mag support - trinity
Renegade343
it would still be better if trinity physical type - excal skill type - mag support - trinity But Trinity would render most of the game trivial with Blessing and Link, even without a specialised setup (or even Warframe power enhancing mods). DrBorris
I think that replacing Mag with Oberon is a good idea. Oberon is the jack of all trades (but master of none) so he gives new players an opportunity to discover their play style. I like keeping Loki because he does give a more advanced option, but the real be a better replacement. There are some frames that newbs should not have (Rhino, Nova, Banshee, Ember, Zephyr, Valkyr, Vauban, And Trinity) because they are either to OP for low level, too specialized, or to complicated for people just starting Warframe. Lukap99
Well, I've been lurking for some time now, and I think that if there's anything I can agree on in this thread, it's that Loki is too hard to use for new players.I mean, Excalibro is a very good all around, so he's pretty much the low level tank.Mag is the utility frame who has some good ranged moves. And Loki is just... too hard to use for new players.Don't get me wrong, he still pretty beast. But you'll notice that new players don't often their WF powers.Perhaps we should replace him with another frame that doesn't have to rely on it's powers as much.I'm thinking either Frost, Ash or Oberon. Probably Oberon. Also, What if all of us old players(obviously not OP here) just got everything and never had to farm again? Would that be allright? Your post is both off-topic and unclear. And who are you calling new?! I've been here all summer since U7!
Liminal
I'd say yes, but only after all frames are balanced so they are equally viable. Yes I know that surely means never, but it would be a good idea.
__Kanade__
They really need to replace Loki, since I do Mercury to get a few levels in for a unmodded frame or weapon before moving on, I do come across alot of new players using Loki and they have no idea how to use him. FierceRadiance
I hate to beat this drum all the time, but DE is a business. If OP is serious, he (we) need to approach this idea from the perspective of DE's business model. How would this generate more revenue for DE than the current model? If we can't come up with a legitimate answer (y'know, OTHER than "I think moar people would play if DE did what I suggest.") then while OP's suggestion is pleasant to speculate about, all it will ever be is speculation. (Seriously, sorry to throw cold rain on your idea, OP...)
