DarthRevan84
Trades that contain items or services outside of the game cannot be tracked and most likely cannot be refunded. Only option is to place a support ticket and hope they can help (Highly unlikely though)
(PSN)unclemonster
why on earth would you ever believe you would get the psn card? you can buy double that amount of platinum with a $50 psn card...
Wustinhurf
I'm sorry for your lost, but I dont think you will see those 500Plat ever again. There is nothing the admin can do about it.
Un1337ninj4
Mention the trade partners name to the devs in the ticket (not here), they may be able to track the plat he received vs the amount that left your account. No guarantees on that though.
xlraistlx
Send a support ticket here but I do not think the refund will be available.

RejectionOfFate
Someone on ps4 offered me $50 psn card for 500 platinum. It was stupid of me but is it possible to get the platinum back please reply As stated above, send a message to the support desk. If you still have the person on PS4's ID, you can also report their account, if you have proof. Always make sure you have proof.
(PSN)ElZilcho
There's a reason the trade chat opens with a notice that they will not enforce trades for clan membership or whatever else.
RoboDoge
I doubt that support can help you with this, as DE clearly states that they dont encourage trading outside Platinum, parts and mods.
(PSN)smithandwesson1
First off if the psn card is legit then the person would just use it to buy platinum. So anyone offering to trade psn cards for platinum are scammers and their are alot of them on the trading tab offering to trade psn numbers for items and platinum. Not sure why this is still going on and these users have not been banned permanently.I have been keeping a personal list of all the users I see on there offering up psn card/numbers. -HAKUNA-YOUR-TATAS-
$50 for 500 platinum is terrible. That's even more expensive than buying platinum at the regular non discounted price of 75 platinum for $5. who was scamming who here? XD
Nkomo-Sama
Greed. It will make a fool out of anyone. In trade chat it tells you what trade chat is for. Let that be a lesson to you.
Tennonymous
I say let the scammer keep the plat. Serves you right & maybe makes you learn something. Anyhow, congratulations.

(PSN)Pengu_Imperialus
Yeah just put in a ticket with the user name. I doubt you'll get the plat back but if it's a scammer you need to at least report it hoping it doesn't happen to anyone else
OniDax
Doesn't the trade chat warn you about this kind of stuff? Edited July 1, 2014 by AntoineFlemming
infrno40
Well it just comes to show that when you see a deal that is just too good to be true.. Walk away... Edited July 1, 2014 by genthis
(NSW)LilVanu
I'm no expert but isn't it also kind of against the games terms of service to sell/trade/buy platinums outside of the game? At this point I'd say. Expect not to get them platinums back and take this as a lesson. Unfortunately in this world that's the only way to properly learn and never do something like that again. (not to say it will sink in the first time for some it won't.)

Yes, and that's why this scam works cause all the cool kids know life is too short for terms of services.
vaugahn
Doesn't it say right at the top of trading chat to only trade for in-game items and nothing else? I mean I really hope you get your plat back but that's such an obvious scam I can't even Edited July 1, 2014 by vaugahn
(PSN)Shadow_Of_Hunhow
The trade chat tells you that they do not do anything about trades for things that aren't tradeable via the trading post.

Tulzscha
The trade chat tells you that they do not do anything about trades for things that aren't tradeable via the trading post. This, and I have to be blunt here - as the saying goes, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is." You can try a support ticket, include supporting evidence. Moved to the proper section.
