-FV-Runehawk Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 It's a Tailwind. Rune, it's clearly a rare mod-- It's. A. Tailwind. TAILWIND.
Yorinar Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 With zephyr you can dive bomb in range and your carrier will grab it. Nova can probably wormhole near enough.. I feel your pain though.
Hyperius Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Remember the days when an item that fell over the edge would respawn near one of the ramps?
TheImmortalHotDog Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I thought your Nekros was the Proto-Skin for Excalibur. I thought your Mutalist Quanta was straight out of Dota/Diablo
MortalSage Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 This happened to me to, I thought mods weren't physics anymore.
Tali Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Remember the days when an item that fell over the edge would respawn near one of the ramps? yea, it was nice
Katinka Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Remember the days when an item that fell over the edge would respawn near one of the ramps? Pretty sure that still happens if you are host. Only client mods get lost or the wrong side of respawn barriers. (I think.)
Pajamawocky Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 You can get items that fall down pits by using a melee jump attack directly down and onto the item.
Tails-san Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Pretty sure that still happens if you are host. Only client mods get lost or the wrong side of respawn barriers. (I think.) From my experience, it's not host/client issues. It's this map. I have only seen this issue regularly on this specific map.
HexCaliber Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Remember the days when an item that fell over the edge would respawn near one of the ramps? They still do; in this case all he had to do was jump down, he would have picked it up before being re spawned, I have had a couple end up down there.
Hyperius Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 They still do; in this case all he had to do was jump down, he would have picked it up before being re spawned, I have had a couple end up down there. This entire thread wouldn't have been created if the item had re-spawned as it used to. Meaning, the in-game volume that says 'Hey you, thing. You've crossed an invisible plane that is designated as a no-no spot for players and objects, now disappear and re-appear here' is broken or works differently.
Katinka Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 From my experience, it's not host/client issues. It's this map. I have only seen this issue regularly on this specific map. I ran a few missions on that particular map on Sunday with two clan mates and found that two or three mods would get stuck down there each mission but the host never saw them down there. They always saw sparkles up at the top of the ramp near the pod. After a few random host migrations we each had our turn of not missing the mods. (None of them were Malicious Raptor anyway.) I've also seen other maps have a similar effect of mods being in one place for the host and others for clients. In the Void there is the tall room which is used as one of the objectives in solar rail attacks, mods can get stuck down in the dark space under the horizontal electric tube thing. There's also the issue with the room with the golden spheres on the ceiling that sometimes open and have half a dozen containers in them. If the spheres close with a mod inside, tough. Unless your the host, then it magically teleports to the bridge underneath.
