PerishedFraud
Keeping it pretty simple. "speedy" mods are pretty much not worth a mod slot, since guns do not cost stamina to use and mods that actually affect damage, energy or health in any way are what we end up putting in our warframes. Unless you're one of those guys that just wanna go fast, then you gotta deal with being weaker than anyone else. So I propose we put a number of extra mod slots that can only be used for "speedy" mods. In fact, put as many slots as there are speedy mods, and put a seperate point pool for them, and make it require an extra reactor and some formas to be able to reach "full speed". You could even go as far as to give prime warframes more of those slots to start with, or something, giving them a noticeable advantage but not one that affects power directly. Detheroc
Pfft. Play a Volt with all stamina mods, sprint speed and power strength, and you never want to go back. Almost as good as flying.
PerishedFraud
and then some random bullet hits you and you drop ded. Let's not derail this just because speed is fun. fun=/= balanced. And right now I find myself unable to do serious-level t4 missions with more than one speedy mod.
7grims
Sorry to say, but I have all warframes, and not even 1 doesn't have the rush mod, I must speed all the time and all the way, and I'm not weak, manny times I show up as being the player who caused more damage. Even so, yah, separate mod slots for utility mods as been discussed several times, and is in fact a good idea.

PerishedFraud
All I wanna say is that speed is not really a "stat" as it does not directly affect combat, so it should be modded seperately.
taiiat
the faster you're moving around, the less likely you are to get shot(bonus points if you're not the Host, as you can then take the advantage of Latency to further reduce incoming fire). even without any Mobility Mods, this is very apparent. blend that with Rush, and you're considerably harder to shoot. don't believe me? run around and do flip jumps and Et Cetera - and then compare to standing still. the defense rests. some of the Mobility Mods are meh, but some of them are great. Rush, Maglev, and Quick Rest are the 'good' Mobility Mods. the others, not so much. adding extra Slots calls for a complete analysis and rebalancing of Mods, however. if there's less options for any particular slot, each option is therefore worth 'more'. Katinka
I use Rush all the time and sometimes Sprint Boost if I'm doing a Sabotage/Deception alert and don't care about enemies. I don't see how I'm weaker than others when I still still carry just as nasty a gun. I've never been one to go full out health/shields (with the exception of my Frost) so I really don't get why so many people feel the need for specific mod slots for certain things. That'll just limit our choices into even narrower builds than we get now. Currently it is the players choice whether they go full damage/full defense or a mix of useful things. Maybe some people choose to exclusively go with cookie cutter builds they found on the internet but that is their choice and they shouldn't blame the game if they choose to gimp their speed for extra health. Mods are about compromise. You can't have everything since points and slots are both limited and you have to make the decision to sacrifice something if you want to fit a different mod. Mikaru_Y
I actually made a hilarious build using volt, with only a few energy mods, shield mods, speed mods, and only his speed ability. I call it the "generic action hero" build, add an explosive primary, a pistol secondary or dual pistols, and whatever melee you want. It's by far one of the most fun builds I've done, and I actually rarely die if ever using it.
Aramanth
Psh, speed's for chumps. Real men walk! Rhino, -sprint helmet, no speed mods, Spoiled strike, Fragor. SLOW AND STEADY, PUNKS. Added fun, blast elemental on Fragor with maxed status. Edited July 5, 2014 by Aramanth
Naftal
While I don't agree with not having slots for speed mods. I agree that we need more mod slots.
