Can Randomers Join An Online Lobby.

I'm sure it's all very obvious for some but I rarely play online and when I do it's defenses and I simply allow it to match me automatically when clicking the node. If I host a void key and just sit there with the online tab open, can randomers join? Got some T4 keys and essentially want some cannon fodder..

Normal defenses, sure, but not void missions of any kind.

Void keys are invite only regardless of status but if you hang out near a node long enough then others will join you.  This is a tactic for drop-off taxis, they invite 2 noobs to a node they dont have unlocked then wait for a random joiner, then the taxi host leaves thus dumping the 2 noobs onto the random joiner who has the mission node unlocked.

You can go to the recruiting chat and say ''Hosting X mission'' and invite people who PM you. There is no way for people to join Void missions without an invite.
