Changing From Stand Alone Warframe Version Too Steam Version

Question

So, i've changed from PC to steam version. I've played Warframe a lot. And i was wondering... is it necessary to start with a new account, to get the achievements, or it will sync with my account eventually?

I've got plenty of the in-game achievements, but none of them on steam, not even the easy ones, like "getting a mod" i've already play in this version, however, it doesn't unlock the achievements on steam D:

I Think this is something DE should check, so if someone from DE read this, please reply (BTW don't sell yourself to PW you guys rock, don't need anyone else)

EDIT: well... it did sync with steam achievements, but after i closed warframe. not while I played it. So that's why i was confused, however, not all the achievements were sync

It should sync. But in my experience its not perfect. Achievements like build 20 items in the foundry, or play for 10/20/100 hours and other similar achievements may not unlock right away/you may have to do them again.

Thats what happened to me, but those are easy to redo and that issue could have easily been fixed by now. Launch the game from steam library, sign into your warframe account, and then it should sync the achievements.

If you already logged into your warframe account using another steam account then it wont work.

I had one time that about 7 achievements popped up for just doing 2 random things, so i thought that steam just woke himself like, ow he reached the third milestone for that achievement, oh yeah he also reached the two milestones before that, well then let`s trow em all at his schreen :D

I'm  still unable to unlock the already unlocked in-game achievements. Steam does not recognize my efforts :'c

Some of them are already unlocked, but most of them, even though they're already unlocked(in-game) are still locked in steam's achieviements list.
