i introduce the Abikung! (AH- beek- un) is how i think it should be said

insparation for the name is derived from the latin word 'abiungo' wich is a verb meaning to 'seperate divide or remove from'

seeing as this is a slicing weapon that will probably disassemble crowds of enemys if used correctly i think its fitting

if anyone has any feedback or comments let me know!

so theese are thrown melee weapons. you would use two of them and the combos would consist of short like 3ft to mid 6ft to long range trows around 8ft from you, in mixed range combos. they would pass through enemys dealing damage to groups at a time and would return to you unlike the glave they do not bounce between enemys, they would deal slashing damage with a lower damage per hit but higher crit damage and crit chance to make up for it with a moderate speed and mild element chance, when not in use they are hooked to the back over top of eachother as if there is only one ring.

combos and scaleing will come soon!

heres the finished version of the energy bladed variant, i have hopes to make a chansawish version next and see what eveeryone thinks

Chakrams (Also known commonly as "Hoop Blades") are a rare melee weapon weilded by martial arts specialists. They are lightweight and used primarily as ceremonial weapons, however can be used in certain combat situations, in which they are spun and twirled around one's body as one would use a hoola-hoop.

All in all, Chakrams would be a great melee weapon, just as long as they are used correctly. (They aren't a throwing weapon)

no because that would be lame, i wanted a weapon that could be thrown with the potential to pass through a few enemys and return.. a blade that is a hoop seems like a pretty good option call em chakrams call em hoops of death whatever i would i like them to be thrown and be hoop shaped

As long as they return. I don't mind tying a string to my Skana then whoop.

yes they would return and i think the combos would have varying degrees of range like

mid - sort - short - long - mid range spin around you kinda combos

yeah thats kinda a close example

Wouldn't it just be a Glaive that looks different, and has different combos?

in a way kinda, but i mean a dagger is a dagger and dual swords are dual swords, but there are still different ones of each arent there? i would also want there to be two of them and there combos are all ranged and dont bounce between enemys they would go through them and return to you in said combo, so they are in essence different weapons with differnt mechanics

The handle is at the wrong angle to the blade for it to be used properly, or is that just me?

the blade goes all around it? the blue/teal stuff around it is the blade made of energy they spin while thrown so im not sure i understand what you mean

In conventional martial arts, NO, those are not for throwing. But, you are in a futuristic era, and you have the Glaive that has a push-pull effect by the user, in that case it comes back to you. Like any weapons futurized it will be able to adapt to the time era.
