An Idea On A Superheat/pressure Frame

Been having a frame idea floating around in my head based on superheating and extreme pressure. I don't have actual ability/stat ideas and whatnot but mostly the theme of it. Basically it's an evolved, advanced version of ember that specializes in actual heat rather than fire/flames.

The ability to superheat an area to the point where it blows up, or suck up all the air in it and create like a vacuum space for a brief period. It could have a mix of offensive ultimate with the explosions and also some defense like superheating a targeted area or self aura to 'melt' all incoming projectiles OR decreasing their impact strength due to all the heat that's exposed. The air sucking would create vacuum which would pull enemies in to the area.

The pressure idea I'm not entirely sure if I'm going along in the right direction but, say, having the ability to massively increase the downforce in an area causing all things to get pushed down to the ground, dealing over time damage and stuffs.

Hope you guys expand on this and really sorry if something very similar was suggested, I wasn't paying attention xD

Your ultimate could be that you cause violent heat-explosions on a single target multiple times over a set duration.

And/or an area around it, yeah, the explosions could also knock over enemies or just stagger them, would be cool for damage and cc

Could this have a few ideas for the Male frame similar in theme to Ember?

It very well could be if they ever actually do it. It's essentially similar yet different, just like they had mentioned they wanted it to be. Both frames are based around heat, just how they use it is different.

One idea I've had for a while, was hoping for it on Hydroid:

A single pulse, with large radius which pulls all hostiles into a single point. Think Vortex with a 20m (base) grab radius and a 1 second duration.

Could synergise very well with a small radius, high damage aoe effect.

Lets just call it an implosion. If going by the heat idea for this frame theme, the area which you cast the ability in sucks all the air out from the outside, just implodes to the center and pulls everything within radius in dishing out some damage.

Could have some nice visual effects.

Throw projectile

Impacts on surface

Ragdolls enemies within range, throwing them back a little, minor damage

All enemies in a ragdoll or staggered state, corpses and physics objects within 1.5x the previous effects range (including from other sources) get pulled into the Implosion, hard

Justification; small explosion, followed by large implosion. All enemies which are 'unable to brace themselves' lose their footing and get dragged in.

Also, a generic 1st ability, explosion themed... Add in a grenade jump effect - knockback, no damage on the caster?

I'm unsure about throwing projectiles, that would kinda beat the whole point of being a caster with superheating powers. Perhaps have the implosion be cast on an actual target, a wave of heat would spread out of the target and then implode right back into it, sucking everything within radius to that target, dealing most damage to it and less to the ones caught within the radius, still applying all the ragdoll effects.
