Kubrow Armor & Brainstorming

The Devs have mentioned quests. How great would it be if some of these would require you to bring along tenno's best friend, and result in gear that not only changed the aesthetics. If say a page were taken from the traditional mmo a low tier quest sequence would result in gear that would prep you for the next tier.

Hopefully with the introduction of quests we can also alleviate the fuster cluck of the current drop tables (void in particular).

Quests + proxy wars will definitely slightly ease out dilution, as you will have generally a goal you can go for to get what you want and might find other drops along the way. Win-win.

Give Tenno lances, the Kubrow saddles, armor and clan barding...mounted combat. haha.

Yeah the doggy maintenance just sounds like a chore. Not a fun game.

I doubt that the Kubrow pet thing is going to be a tomagatchi game. In my mind, the care-taking will only be a thing you do while logged in, and the time counter stops when you log out. It would not make any sense to employ a pet sitting mechanic that counts down while you are offline in this sort of game because it would remove the focus from the gameplay itself.

 

Kubrow armor would be hella cool. How about quests that result in Kubrow accessories?

The Devs mentioned that they'll have you gather a Kubrow egg from one of their denson earth. The "gennetics" within the egg will determine details like body type and coat color/pattern. You'll then be able to I guess cross breed the genetics within the egg with what other tenno have. Just watch the dev streams. They explained this better. But as for armor alternate skins, why not have an imortal option? Or even prime? Prime Kubrow armor... I like it.

Make them have shoulder mounted weapons and make the Tenno able to wield the Dakra Prime and Glaive Prime as a sword and shield and allow us to play fetch with the thrown melee weapons!
