since many people are requesting that warframes get a gender opposite and another set of ability mods. i though why have them applied differently why not have a "warframe sync" between them were they can use each others ability mods and have there stats different to invoke different play styles

 

Edit: i don't mean skins for current frames

They already said no to gender swaps, all the people asking for them are probably tumblr enthusiasts that have ORIGINAL CHARACTERS DONT STEAL and want canon genderbends for everything so they can squee.

 

Or they're just guys that want to look at a girls &#! the whole time playing because they're shallow.

 

Either way devs said no. You might get similarly themed frames with different abilities / genders, but otherwise no.

no. i think that would make it too OP. warframes are unique in their own way, if there were same elements but different gender, they won't be unique anymore.

Purely cosmetic genderswap Frame? No.

 

New Frame with slightly similar theme to an existing Frame of an opposite gender? Maybe.

you see that every warframe has their own elements so they're unique. i think there would be alot of updates if devs allowed gender alternates.

Thats what op is talking about and wants the 2 different frames to be able to have interchangeable abilities. For example: If DE released Blaze, the fire-male counterpart to Ember, he would have a different set of abilities naturally but they would also be able to be used on Ember and Embers abilities used on Blaze.

 

And with that said, DE has said that if they do make gender alternate frames, the abilities will be interchangeable.

 

Edit: I should say that I am indifferent to whether this kinda thing happens or not. I wont mind if it happens, but wont really care if it doesnt either. As long as actually changing genders of a warframe does not happen.

No. Just no.

 

Each warframe is meant to be unique; having two of the same warframe, (even if it's just the same theme) just different gender, would kill that for me. I like how each warframe exemplifies its' own personality and gender, so if you just threw another but of the opposite gender it'd just make it so bland.

Why do people even want different gendered frames? It's completely stupid, if you feel uncomfortable playing a frame because they don't share your gender, then don't play that frame STOP BEING A TERRIBLE HUMAN.
Gender doesn't matter at all. Like, even a little. It's a huge time sink that takes away from DE's ability to make new frames, and for what? Literally what? If you're too insecure to play a frame you don't share a gender with, too bad. The dev team isn't going to spend weeks to accommodate someone who'd ignore their favorite ability set because of whether or not the character has breasts.

No if they redesign anything, they should just take a smooth tool to Trinity's Lobster Tail.

Clearly you've never actually been on tumblr, and are just using phrases commonly used there to make it sound legitimate.
As someone who follows just about every person who makes warframe fan art on tumblr, I can honestly say that I've never seen a frame gender swapped, or even seen someone mentioning it on tumblr. Your simplification and un-educated humiliation attempt is not welcome here. Go back to 4chan.
