Aesthetic Issue With The Shield Guy Of The G3

Everyone know about the G3, epic and annoying G3   : )

 

 

But something always bothers me, the "shield of Shik Tal"

I mean is so... simple.

 

 

DE, can you give a give him a custom/personalized shield? pls

Aesthetic issue. Says so right there in the title. It's like making Vor a recolored Flameblade, or if Vay Hek was just a reskinned Grineer Trooper.

 

As Kappatalist points out, it gives players false clues. Something that could be very dangerous in a situation where you need to make snap-decisions.

I'm sure it's something that'll be changed in the future. It seems to me that DE wants to release cool new features like the G3, but don't always have time to create brand new assets for everything. I recall reading somewhere that they use the same leg model as Lech Kril, which is another example of this. As I said, I'm sure they'll give them new pants and a new shield. Soon......
