I put one, but I always do with primes, and I enjoy melee fighting in general. If you have limited slots, you may want to pass on it....hard to say what you mean by "is it worth it?"

Then yes, you should. It's the best weapon for the fist stances.

usually with weapons i level them to 5-10  and if i enjoy them by then (attack speed, animations, damage etc) i put a potato on them.
But for me the ankyros prime was not one of them, just to 30 and then never touched it again.

I would say no to tickle mittens prime. But it seems youre having fun with them so go ahead and install one.

With the new animations for the Seismic Palm stance it is absolutely worth it!  T4 is not a problem with these toilet seat primes!  with this build (http://goo.gl/MJ6vkn) you can't go wrong (against Corrupted).  Seriously, don't listen to what other people say because they haven't truly taken the time to really invest in this weapon!

Also, I have Dual Ichors maxed out with the same build and Swirling Tiger stance, and i kill lvl 50 heavy gunners in around the same amount of time with the Ankyros Prime as i do with the Ichors (arguable the best end game weapon).
