BloodKitten
watching the trade channle looking for something, have noticed a scammer saying "free plat, go to *www.blahblahimasadindevidual.com* (clearly i just made up a link) can kickbot be programmed to kick people that post any kind of url? and can it be programmed to not be fooled by a space somewhere in the link? there are always those players that just cant tell its a scam cause they are either new to the online world or just dumb, and they still dont deserve to get scammed or banned. taiiat
not sure this is really a good idea. Kickbot already has issues, because Keyword recognition is terrible, and we can be chatting about completely different topics, and end up getting kicked. like, talking about computer hardware, and being kicked for trading. keyword recognition is pretty bleh. i understand the need for it, but i wouldn't be surprised if people get kicked for no reason because of it. [DE]Glen
We added autokick for the the domains that host the free websites commonly used to phish your account credentials. Remember kids: if some website asks you for your Warframe password you're going to get your account stolen (and then banned when the scammers start using your account to lure other suckers). Satwo
the problem that DE would face when trying to stop scammers (which they are always trying to do) is they evolve and find a new way to screw players out of their hard earned items. it happens in so many ways itll make your head spin. one of the old school ways scammers used to ruin players about a decade ago was to pose as a girl, pretend to fall in love, then con them out of their info because "i wanna try your character", then hock all their stuff. this is why the well known term for photo proof or leave the fore-mentioned game/forums became viral. every year scammers find a new way to con. its an ugly truth. DarthRevan84
Dont need any real intervention by DE against scammers because really its not their fault if someone is silly enough to fall for a scammer its their own fault.

Yorinar
Then they fall for it and learn via said "Hard Way" Sorry, didn't finish my first thought. some players are younger and deserve some protection. You're just not really equipped to deal with being preyed on by an adult. DE would be very irresponsible in that case if they didn't try to help. Now, if you're 30 and you get scammed, you deserved it.

Letter13
If you see people scamming like that, take a screenshot and report them in a Support Ticket. StrahlTiger
We added autokick for the the domains that host the free websites commonly used to phish your account credentials. Remember kids: if some website asks you for your Warframe password you're going to get your account stolen (and then banned when the scammers start using your account to lure other suckers). This is a good start, but why not program the kickbot, instead of kicking for posting a URL, prompt it to post an IMMEDIATE message in the same chat as a reminder every single time a URL is posted. "Many links can be dangerous blah blah, never type in your Warframe login info on anything other than the Warframe client or through warframe.com, NEVER give your Warframe password to anyone." If seems like posting a reminder message would be more effective than kicking people who aren't aware of something that could get them kicked, and will still get the point across. Just like how Steam has embedded "Never tell your password to anyone." into every chat window. It seems like a more effective method than trying to play catch up with spammers/scammers/plat sellers that tend to always be one step ahead. Gravalite
I found a bad site! Claims to have a free plat generator (pretty sure its just a virus) and asks for your login info. I submitted a ticket, but I'm not even sure if that matters considering that it's not a player ingame, and is not a site that DE controls.
