And I'm 99.99% sure that when they say "opening the vault" they're just re-releasing some or all of the discontinued weapons, such as the Gorgon, Ether Daggers, Snipetron etc, and that they're not re-releasing event weapons (wraith/vandal variants). "Celebratory"? Sorry, could you clarify what that means exactly? The only weapon I can think of as being celebratory would be the Dex Furis, but I admit that I can't remember where all of the old exclusive weapons come from. I'm not really sure why DE would go out of their way to talk about something that's just a re-release of a discontinued weapon. Not that I don't understand them rereleasing those discontinued weapons, but that's the sort of change that could happen in the notes of a hotfix and most people would go "oh, neat." Pretty much none of those discontinued weapons are worth much (except to collectors like myself)... At any rate, I doubt it'd be the Gorgon since it's already available from login rewards. Other weapons are more plausible though, and I'd be happy with any. If they come back in log-in rewards I can't say I'd be too excited because it'd probably be another month before I see 'em. I believe it was either the Lato or the Braton Vandal which was available for the first weekend/first day or two of the open beta. The other one is a celebratory gift to CBT players. And the Dex Furis is a celebratory weapon for Open Beta players. That's what I mean by celebratory; not event weapons, but not standard weapons either. I have all of them, but it deeply bothered me that Boar Prime was available to others, but not Boar. Similarly a great number of players have Machete Wraith, but not Machete. Also, Machete is the weapon Scorpions use, so I could see wanting to use it to "cosplay" a grineer warframe or something. I leveled my ether daggers recently and they were quite nice. They may try to test out some of the minor features originally planned for U14 if they're already done with some of the tweaks, but even that seems unlikely. People have some rather high expectations sometimes. FYI I have everything that has been vaulted so far so I am just glad they are giving the chance of completion just for the sake of it. And as far as I know by the logic of usefulness then only the Ether Daggers should ever be out, debbie downers.
