immolator1001
Well let's welcome our new Chinese overlords for a reason... Cheap, worthless trades are reason why warframe isn't as profitable as it should be and had to be sold. With this cheap attitude trade shouldn't have even ever been introduced This actually doesn't make sense. PS don't be so mad people don't want to buy your focus for 20 plat. All that platinum came from somewhere. Even if you're only getting 5p, someone somewhere down the line paid for it. Also, warframe isn't being sold. Aggh
Lol an hour spent fishing for 50 plat? This can not be real tea Who cares if you get while doing stuff you would have already done? I level up stuff grinding for t4 keys and loki/bo/wyrm parts for instance. Occasionally you get lucky too. Recently I logged on, played one interception mission, got a T4 exterminate, ran the key and got a bo handle that I immediately sold for 100p :| Edited July 9, 2014 by Aggh

By that logic candy bars shouldn't be sold for less than $20. Some stuff just isn't worth as much as other stuff.
BrotherIcarus
You aren't going to steal my customer because a 5p trade isn't worth my time or anyone else's... Trade needs a price floor, period Ok here is an example, You post on the chat saying you are selling mod X for 20P (A completely fare and reasonable price) and then I say I am selling mod X for 5p the customer is going to buy from me not you. A 300% saying is more than worth the customers time.

vaugahn
No... By that logic Walmart (trade chat) shouldn't be what is it if people what to complain about the overall picture here Okay...that doesn't make sense either. Everything has a value. Stuff that's really easy to get has a very low value. It's called supply and demand. The higher the supply, the less something costs. A loki prime chassis or a lamborghini will cost a lot because the supply is low. A bo ornament or a pair of socks won't cost very much because the supply is high. You can never change supply and demand. People will always pay less for something they can get easily.

vaugahn
My degree is in business... Lol its a bad business model for DE and for people who have things to trade No reason people should have things for price that they are at now. Actually it's a very good business model for DE. People will buy more platinum because they know they can use it to trade. You know, normally I see threads about how trading prices are too high, but this is the first time I've ever seen one about how trading prices are too low. BoomstickJohnson
Is this a troll or something? You realize that stores sell things for super cheap and that it adds up? Have you heard of 99¢ stores?
Rettycombine
Hmmm, what other games have large amounts of trading? Team Fortress 2? oh look, no price floor, i guess the trading must be completely dead and Valve is getting bought out by EA... oh wait.

Lol its a bad business model for DE and for people who have things to trade No reason people should have things for price that they are at now. Oh I see, you have a firm handle on exactly how much DE is netting in revenue in conjuncture to their average expenses and whether or not the in game trade economy is making an impact, negative or positive, on annual/monthly/weekly platinum sales. What else does your crystal ball say?
vaugahn
Then why did DE put themselves in a position to be sold? Like I said previously, let's see how long this is going to last Uh...they didn't. Businesses don't have to be doing bad to be sold/bought. Did you get that business degree from an online university?

Zeitzbach
This is actually a complaint thread in disguise on how price can get cut so a person will have to sit around for an hour more to actually sell something. Same way those "I want to sell full set instead of just certain parts" work. Well then, have fun sitting for an hour more. You might get one buyer. And China pretty much force the game to form a partnership with a certain Chinese company if they are to open a game there.
