Increase (Prime) Laser Rifle Mag Size.

Seriously, i feel offended when i look at its ridiculous 5 rounds capacity when deth machine rifle boasts a 100 round one, sweeper a 10 round one with far superior damage and both are hit scan, meaning that all that better and much better capacity will be directed straight to the enemies' hopeless bodies

 

As for our (Prime) Laser Rifle? Well you will be lucky to hit a single shot against an enemy 10m away at which point you will have to reload again. Even if said weapon had a 200 base damage it would suck because of its ridiculous mag and accuracy.

 

So please DE, could you balance this weapon by increasing its capacity to, say, 45 rounds?

By all means do, it is great stat-wise but its awful mechanics make it completely useless (mag capacity and accuracy).

 

Mainly mag capacity, you would expect 5 rounds on sinper rifle, which quite honestly, is a niche yet to be filled by a sentinel weapon. So by increasing drastically its damage and keeping the clip size we would  have a viable weapon.

 

By increasing magazine we would have a corpus style rifle, as seen on dera and supra.

 

By increasing both accuracy and mag size we would have a deth machine rifle variant.

 

As it is now? Pure garbage.

I think they completely forgot that what made lase rifle terrible was its mag capacity along with its terrible accuracy, we cant forget that sentinels cant predict enemies movement and shoot accordingly. Now just picture the fore mentioned scenario.

 

Yoir sentinel desperatedly trying to shoot its non-hit-scan-5-round-clip weapon on a moving enemy. Pains me to watch the poor lil dragon going.

Although I would love a larger magazine clip, that's just me being selfish and I think the gun is at an acceptable level. I think the point of the low reload and clip size is that it's meant to be treated like a burst-fire rifle.

 

Actually, what I would like is for DE to buff many of the magazine mods, a lot of them are kind of horrid despite the costs.

Not really selfish. See, if thats just the way sentinels weapos were i would be fine. But Deth Machine Rifle is FAR superior, so i think we have precedent here to ask for a mag buff to put it on par with others.

 

We naturally tend not to pay attention into our sentinels dmg during a match because the game itself makes no effort to show how efficient they were.

 

Having nothing to do, i recently compared my 3 forma laser prime rifle with my 5 forma deth machine rifle (both maxed), no graphs, no nothing, just me watching how those weapons perform. My sentinel with deth machine rifle could solo pluto 5 first waves easily, with the almighty (sarcasm) Prime Laser Rifle i died 2 minutes into the game. See? Thats not fair to someone who went through all the work of acquiring a Wyrm Prime.

the original is crap beyond belief, a primed upgraded version of that is still going to be quite poor. 

 

still an upgrade over the regular variant tho.

UI is bugged. The prime laser rifle actually has a magazine capacity of 6.

 

With magazine warp, it shoots 8 shots despite the UI saying it has a capacity of 7
