Clutching At Thin Air?

Earlier this week I was playing the Vauban Systems Alert and I noticed this happening. I have no idea what caused, but I thought it might be because of lag.

I have no idea what it might be in programing language ,but maybe an animation that got stopped halfway through?

I used BB code copied from imgur to post this picture of it. If it isn't there, I probably messed up something again.
