So How Do Tenno Ships Float Around Planets And Enemy Spaceships Undetected?

They simply sit there all vulnerable to enemy fire. Would the ships not be camouflaged or invisible like so...

See this view. Thats the same view(sideways) you see when your ship is next to a planet, except the interior gets in the way. So if your ship can be camouflaged or invisible, wouldn't it be great if you can make the interior invisible too as an OPTION as part of a free decor. The interior would still be navigable while invisible and you would have transparency slider to adjust transparence so you can enjoy this view with your dog.

So if Wonder Woman can have an invisible jet, why should Tenno not have invisible ships(transparency slider to adjust transparency level).

it's also a great way to see everything while your enemy sees nothing.

Notice how the devs continue to get rid of the space backdrop that made warframe so beautiful. All menus had the stars and space ib teh background, but update after update they keep removing it. Does the dev team have an issue with space a a background. Do they not like the cosmos? The new star chart has the ship as the background, but darkened so you only see yourself in this pitch black background so you don't see any designs much less anything at all.

Do the Tenno like see space in the background? Do the devs hate seeing space in the background. Does it look unprofessional, cheap, etc.?

the cosmos is a beautiful thing, do not ignore it.

EDIT: To think people actually thought i thought these images were real. it's pretty obvious they are fake much like the space in warframe, but it is beautiful to look at.

Get my drift.

A. They are small stealth ships, not invisible.

B. You will be able to see stuff out of your window

C. Most of those pictures are either are, fake, or heavily retouched so that we can actually see the spectrums those bodies are emitting. (I believe most are art not accurate representations)

Optical stealth doesn't work in space because of all the ship's emmisions. If it has engines it's visible.

My guess is Lotus either hacks enemy systems and shuts down their scanners as you approach or the ship can somehow jam, spoof or delay their emmissions reaching the enemy.

Have you not been watching the livestreams? The player ship has a fantastic view of each planet and a great big window.

Those are really unrealistic views you've got there. Space is kinda boring unless you're in orbit around a planet, just a big empty expance with distant stars. Notice how all the pictures you posted have planets basically touching each other or are super colourful? That doesn't actually happen.

Look at EVE online is all I can say....you can even fail to see a 5 Kilometer long ship unless you check your scanners....why? Because space is dark...and...space is VAST.

The smaller ships that are between 3-100 meters in size in EVE...you will only manually see if they're relatively close to you and have the trails blasting or they're on your scanners.

That brings us to the next point...while floating in orbit you're not giong to use your engines a whole lot....and the surface of the ship is not highly reflective (check art and screenshots for proof).

Even if you look directly at it from a distance...chances are without special scanners you will mistake it for some floating rock...or not see it at all.

Next point: You approach an enemy ship (so you actually fly around):
Grineer Tech is S#&$...so they probably don't even have 1940's radar...and Corpus are too busy with profit....while the infested probably don't give much of a damn about scanners.

Aha, you've touched upon a topic with which I have a passing familiarity as an amateur astronomer.

First, as others have mentioned, the concept art in the OP do not reflect the actual visual spectrum you would see in space.  Even the astrophotographs we often marvel over from Hubble and other sources reflect compilations of anywhere from dozens to thousands of images taken over the course of hours to many months.  They often use false color to visually represent what is typically outside the normal spectrum.

That being said, I have no problem with Warframe or other entertainment media "bending the rules" a bit for dramatic effect.  It's possible, for instance, that the monitors aboard the craft have some advanced sensors that gather information from not only the visual spectrum but also infrared, ultraviolet, hydrogen-alpha, soft x-ray, etc. and represent it in real-time.

As far as being detected, while it's true with the right technology the various factions might be able to detect a ship based on emissions from its propulsion systems, communications array, etc., it's not taking into account counter-measures that may have been developed by Lotus to minimize its profile to traditional sensors.  An "enemy" ship could literally be within several kilometers and not necessarily be able to "see" the Tenno craft with it's sensors, particularly if the Tenno were rigged for silent running (which seems not only plausible but likely given the stealthy ninja back-story of the Tenno operatives.)  We are currently developing real-world technology today that reads the "background" of an object, and then re-projects it on the opposite side, giving the visual effect not unlike the "Predator" invisibility.  Take that tech several hundreds of years in the future, and it's not hard to imagine a craft being able to project that image in all spectra and in 360 degrees, making a virtual cloaking device.

At the end of the day, Warframe is a game--a work of fiction.  The Grineer and Corpus can't track the Tenno because Lotus sprinkles her Chosen with equal parts Awesome and unicorn farts. That's enough for me. :)

Check out this cool little program by Nasa, it's like Google Earth but for the Solar System and beyond.

In it are a number of functions that allow you to compare distances and size of celestial bodies, various objects, etc. in space accurately. You can compare things like the International Space Station (ISS) to the Earth and Moon itself from a visual perspective. Very quickly you will get an idea of just how big space is and how tiny we are.
