Trading Mastery Rank Level

the trading methods are absolutely ridiculous considering my friend and i have been playing for hours to get her into the dojo with the hopes of being able to trade. this is the only game i had ever heard of that doesn't allow someone to trade via mail and has to level just to trade. she shouldn't have to have gained mastery to trade items with me....as long as one person is higher level you should be able to trade at the very least.

Srry i see what you mean but this is in place for a reason. If someone were to get every Prime weapon and warframe in the game at mastery rank 0 that would cause them to be extremely OP for the level missions they would be playing. (Assuming they don't pick sicarus prime. Yuck)

Its to stop scammers and spammers in the chats. You know how in other online games where there are spam bots with "go here for free *insert money to in-game currency type here* :D!!!" ? Its to stop that kinda thing from happening.

And in all honesty, mastery level 3 really isnt that hard of a level to reach.

Yeah, it's disgusting how many MR3 players I see with a Boltor Prime. That thing can practically run Pluto unmodded, and you're letting low level players have it because they spent five bucks on the game? Naaahhh that's not right.

The reason why you can't instant trade is if you are able to make trades at level 0 then you can create multiple accounts and is mean 50 platinum, almost under 10 min you can create 1 account and if you feel you don't need to play with it just trade the stuff and if you have credit in your main account then you can exchange goods. This thing now not easy if you try to do because you need to do much mission to reach the lvl 2 mastery and with restrictions your trade makes this option dead because you haven't enough time to concentrate on other accs. Say thank to them because they careful enough against cheaters/exploiters.

People paying to not grind in  a f2p game?  Who'd a thunk it?

Seriously though, this is a terrible attitude to hold imo.

I know right... it should be reserved for MR12 players who are farming on earth.

/sarcasm

the game's non-progression and level ranking are so completely #*($%%@ up and without reason that any suggestion to limit any kind of weapon to any player is stupid.  Besides, anyone that crafted the boltor prime has run enough missions to gather the mats to create it, which is a bit above total noob level.  Just because someone is low MR doesn't mean they haven't been playing the game.

Okay, to clarify, my issue is more related to the fact that low level players who've only been playing for like 3 hours can get the best guns in the game.

Unless you put a mastery lock on high level things (I mean look at the supra, that thing has a mastery level of like 8 and it's still terrible) then making trading available to new players will kill the game. That will mean new players who payed that five bucks can get themselves a boltor prime, putting them light-years ahead of every other new player, and making the entire game a cakewalk. That is pay to win. They pay a bit of money, and the game becomes stupidly easy. I don't see how I can put it any more clearly than that. High level content should be reserved for high level players, not given to any noob who spends five bucks and buys everything needed in trading chat.

Besides, anyone that crafted the boltor prime has run enough missions to gather the mats to create it, which is a bit above total noob level.  Just because someone is low MR doesn't mean they haven't been playing the game.

The materials consist of buying everything from trading chat. I think it needs orokin cells, and if you go into recruiting and say "I need orokin cells" You get a taxi to a Dark Sector Defense that drops them, and two runs later you've got more than you'd ever need, and all you did was sit by the pod.

And yes, when you see level 2 players with a boltor prime, it does mean they haven't been playing for a while, because fully ranking your starter frame and three weapons gets you up to about mastery rank 3, and if they haven't reached that yet, it means they haven't been playing long enough to rank their starter gear.

The point where players who like their gear and don't care to try stuff out is about mastery 7-9. I know because I ran around with a Loki, Fragor, Snipetron/boltor and Akbolto for about the first 8 months of the game. I didn't have any other weapons or frames. I ranked a few to see how I liked them, and when the Akbolto came out I switched from my Bolto.

The Boltor Prime has become the new noob gun. Mastery rank 3s with Rhino Primes and Boltors are everywhere, There's one in about 7/10 farming missions I go to. They don't know how to play the game, they wildly flail with their guns, and blow all their ammo shooting one corpse, but they somehow managed to get the highest level gear in the game?

Having a mastery requirement in trading cuts down on RMT abuse amongst other things.

Tell me, what RMTer would take the time to get a character up to a high rank and then have limited trades per day?
It is far too much effort for most of them and it has kept the RMTs out of tthe game.
And I consider it a very good thing.
