... Well... Even if you're host, there's still the games' rules that you can't change, but they can't tell you much either. 

 

EDIT: Secondly, I surely don't think you'll get banned, but showing respect if they're asking you to stop affecting their performance due to an ability, you could consider. I mean, he said please. Or, well, pls.

My house my rules was more to do with whether using the ult was ok or not, of course game rules make sense. But also, respect went out the window as soon as the R-word and threats came in lol.

Seriously though, every once and a while when hosting a taxi for pubs I'll get hackusated by some idiot who doesn't know what a Trinity Suicide Build is.  Apparently, I'm one of the extreme few players who haven bothered to keep using such Trinity Builds.

 

Other than that, if they're lagging it's either their connection to you or their computers that can't handle.  Molecular Prime was redesigned so it wouldn't cause nearly as much chain lag as before.

Hosting doesn't give you any kind of authority; that kind of antagonistic language could merit a temp ban if you're reported enough.

 

Same with naming and shaming on the forums.

While I don't supper their report or their insults, I do not support your behavior either. You shouldn[t act like that at all, especially when YOU are bringing them down using an ability which causes them lag.

My behaviour was just stating the obvious. They wanted to sit and wait for infested to come to them, I wanted to rush the mission so I could actually get the 3/3 before the mission was no longer infested. So because I wanted to use ults and rush the mission, I have bad manners? That's completely ludicrous. Let's not even consider the fact that, while I may have been able to word my comments better, I certainly didn't start throwing out abuse or making threats to report anyone. If they're worried about "lag", there's a ping limit in the options for that reason.

You called them lazy and didn't listen to them when they couldn't handle M prime.

Also, the term lag here is unknown. Most likely they were referring to frame rate (because M prime does cause some frame rate lag on low end computers).

 

No, rushing and using ults is not bad manners. What is bad manners is that you called them lazy for something that they had good reason to complain about. 

 

Again, I don't fully support either side here, both sides could've reached a better understanding.

You can't force people to do what they don't like, even if you're the host, as well as reporting you for rushing is dumb.

 

I'll lock that to prevent eventual derails or flamebait. Feel free to question support, but don't worry : you won't be banned because you're using Nova. Putting a Warframe in game but prevent users from using it is just plain stupid, and as far as I know I never heard about a ban because "using Nova".
