Brakk Or Marelok

They say the Brakk is the best secondary But the Marelok is a beast of its own. Which is better and why?

Marelok, more damage and range, slower rate of fire and reload speed.

 

Brakk, less damage and range, quicker rate of fire and reload speed.

Marelok's easier to get, that's for sure.

 

But if you have the Brakk already, why not both?

While marelok seemed to show vast potential as i was leveling it, the slow fire rate and reload speeds just didn't stick for me. Brakk is a quick and easy way to get something out of your face, which is my preferred style of combat. Just pick based on taste, or get both, try em and decide

Marelok & I prefer my Detron > Brakk.

 

A fully built Marelok will do well over 5k dmg in a single shot. A fully built Detron will melt groups even at mid range due to no damage fall off (unlike Brakk).

The Detron is on this weird middle ground between the Marelok and Brakk.

 

The Detron fires and reloads as quickly as the Brakk.

 

However, the Detron's spread is wider (requiring more shots to kill at range) and hits enemies left-of-center in close quarters.

I have every Prime & Special weapon out there but the only secondary I see that does the most damage is my Marelok (well over 6k damage) and Brakk (slightly over 6k damage) I just can't decide which is actually stronger... more fire power with massive status chance or faster reload & fire rate along with higher Crit Damage.
