Buff to make some mods usable, sure. It's not like secondaries have unlimited slots to put all the mods into. Most secondaries still wouldn't use those mods. StinkyPygmy Posted July 12, 2014 Share Posted July 12, 2014 I find Vasto works well for a crit build. Just chuck on multishot, target cracker, pistol gambit and maxed hollow point. Its only a 15% base dmg loss and you can easily counter it with hornet strike and any other dmg mods. I'm using it for T4 stuff no problems so it works fairly well. Maybe with 4.0 crit multiplier it would be changed but it would break the balance, no nvm we have no balance, it would simply be stupidly op. Vital sense is simply better mod than target cracker. Sure, most primary crit mods out class pistol mods, but thats only a problem is if your a player obsessed withh efficiency and having the best possible build (which also means you believe any weapon that requires more effort then a boltor prime to make endgame plausible is S#&$) . Thing is though you can still steam roll literally anything up to lvl 50ish with a less then perfect build with basically any weapon. Same goes for secondaries. Who gives a rats &#! about efficiency when the difference between a perfect build and a slightly less efficient build for end game is only a difference of one more shot to the head? I was just saying that the best pistol crit mods are decent enough (for now at least) because you don't need the same power as primary ones of them to be viable. Not having a dig at you at all man. As it stands most mods are OP anyway, especially primary ones. Theres nothing wrong with having the most efficient build, I'm just saying you don't even need a prfect build to handle a fair amount of endgame stuff. I run a crit build vasto just fine for endgame. I was really only having a dig at players that are so stat obsessed anything that can't one shot lvl 100 corrupted gunners is useless in their eyes. Which means they feel free to insult those "lesser" players that choose to give their supra or grinlock a bit more love to make it viable.
