Mod Status Thread

I've been farming mods. I have around 5~ pages worth of them. Some of them work, some of them are broken. Here is a comprehensive list of mods and what they do, and if they actually work. If you have anything you want updated, added, changed, or etc, just make a post and i'll try and update it.

NAME - STATUS - INFO

Status types:

Unknown - havn't tested

Broken - Doesn't work at all

Bugged - works, but with unknown side effects

Working - works as intended

STATUS? - unsure if it is the status or not

FRAME (Status)

ARMOR n% - UNKNOWN - ?I'm thinking that It should reduce the amount of damage to your health (but not shields), or negate a certain number of attacks completely (like dodge).

HEALTH n% - BROKEN - doesn't do anything to health

SHIELD CAPACTY n% - BUGGED - It works, but sometimes your shield bonus gets doubled (may be due to 'mineral deposits')

SHIELD RECHARGE n% - WORKING - Increases the rate at which your shield recharges.

SPRINT SPEED n% - BROKEN - doesn't actually increase the speed at which you sprint.

FRAME (effects)

MELEE DAMAGE n% - UNKNOWN - increases damage with melee attacks. This is a mod that fits on your warframe. No noticeable effects on damage when wearing the mod

ENEMY RADAR +n - BUGGED - makes enemy show up on radar. N is distance radius. Doesn't work in some games

LOOT RADAR +n - BUGGED - makes loot crates show up on radar. N is the distance radius that they will show up

RADAR doesn't work sometimes

FRAME (ability)

POWER RANGE n% - UNKNOWN - might increase the radius of an AOE ability

POWER MAX n% - BROKEN? - when picking this mod up, they have no icon, and drop out of your inventory (also all are lvl 1)

GAME/AVATAR_ABILITY_EFFICIENCY n% - UNKNOWN - most likely broken. don't know what this is supposed to do.

GAME/AVATAR_ABILITY_DURATION n% - UNKNOWN - most likely broken. should increase the duration of an ability.

WEAPON (dmg)

ARMOR PIERCING DMG n% - WORKING - Increases damage against armored targets.

CRITICAL DMG n% - WORKING - increases the amount of damage a critical hit does

CHARGE DMG n% - WORKING - increases the amount of damage your melee charge does.

DAMAGE n% - WORKING - increases base damage that a weapon does

ELECTRIC DMG n% - WORKING - disables enemies for a short period and increases damage of gun

FIRE DMG n% - WORKING - causes enemies to panic, might be a DOT, and also increases damage.

FREEZE DMG n% - BUGGED? - It does increase damage, but there is no secondary effect like fire and lightning. Weak against machines, unlike other elements.

MELEE DMG n% - WORKING- Might work, but test havn't revealed much.

WEAPON (ammo augmentation)

AMMO MAXIMUM n% - UNKNOWN - doesn't seem to do anything. havn't ever hit max ammo with a gun.

CRITICAL CHANCE n% - WORKING - increases the chance to score a critical hit

HEAVY CHARGE SPEED n% - UNKNOWN - decreases the time it takes to change a heavy melee attack

MULTISHOT n% - WORKING - As far as I can tell, it doesn't work. Might allow 2 or more shots to be fired with one click.

PUNCTURE +n - WORKING - ?Should allow bullets at a certain range to pass through things.

STUN CHANCE n% - BROKEN? - Should just stun an enemy, but has a chance to instagib them instead

WEAPON (gun augmentation)

CLIP CAPACITY n% - WORKING - increases the amount you can hold in your clip

FIRE RATE n% - WORKING - should increase the rate at which you can fire your gun (dont know if it effects semi-auto)

MELEE FIRE RATE n% - WORKING - increases the rate at which melee weapons attack

RELOAD SPEED n% - WORKING - decreases reload times

CHANGE LOG

10.26.12 - Added AMMO MAX & MELEE FIRE RATE

10.27.12 - Added SHIELD RECHARGE & CHARGE DMG

10.28.12 - Added POWER MAX & MELEE DAMAGE (Frame)

Puncture is AMAZING. I can confirm it does allow bullets to pass through targets. How many I don't know. Currently I have a +5 on my snipetron and I love it. Long hallways/bridges or anywhere they run at you in a line is cake. Also goes through the shields that some Grineer carry.

*AS A WARNING* stun may cause enemies to be "instagibed". When this happens on maps that require a kill count, they won't get counted towards the running total. Meaning, if you "stun" 3 people on a map that has 90 enemies left on it, you will end up with 3 enemies left and will be unable to finish the mission.

This might not be the reason this is happening, but I've gone through 3 missions like this ever since i've put on stun, and that where the connection comes in.

Missions are just bugged with exterminate card

It does work, but if you have a mod like 40% multishot applied to a pistol, adding 40% of 1 shot still leaves you with just 1 shot. Applied to something like a shotgun, you'll be able to easily see the difference.

(secret pro tip: if you stack a couple of multishot mods on a pistol or rifle, you'll be able to push the shot count to 2)

I have a 68% and a 98% for my pistol, and havn't yet been able to push the shot count to 2. i'll try tomarrow though
