Capture Missions: Enemy Alert Status Inconsistency

So I noticed an inconsistency when stealthing through a grineer capture mission. When you capture a target, even if you've been completely undetected up to that point, as soon as you suck them up the other enemies and fresh spawns behave as if they have been alerted to your presence. This on it's own is fine and makes sense, however you cannot reset the enemy awareness level by hacking a console because no one has sounded an alarm.

 

Being unable to reset the alarms after you've absconded with a valuable target COULD make sense, except for the fact that if an enemy initiates the lock down procedure (without having to trigger alarms first by the way) after you have captured a target and the ai is behaving as if an alarm was raised, you can hack to open the doors, then hack again to remove the enemies alerted status. Then everything is fine until you stealth capture the next target and the AI becomes alerted without being alerted again.

 

it's not a big deal but it would be more consistent if either capturing a target actually caused:

 

No alarm at all if done stealthily

or

an audible alarm

or

the silent/audible alarm it did cause was resettable.

or

the enemies were unable to be set to an unalerted level after being alerted by the capture of target.

ah also, on that very note, can you make bosses / hvt field of view significantly shorter, as they are able to spot you from insane distance.

n7snk, That is quite a ridiculous range of awareness for boss's/targets. I always knew they were better at spotting us, but that's a bit much.

 

 

Thanks for the info, capturing the target will no longer cause a level-wide alert state in U14.
