1220
i was thinking if in U 14 there will be dogs (or whatever they are called) they should come with big cats like tigers or cheetah like cats in the game cats would be more stealthy you would thing and would scout enemies possession and randomly take out enemies as well wouldn't this be awesome but again it is just a thought

TheErebus.
I honestly think there should be no cat pets in warframe, to me the community just wants them because:A: DERebecca (and I'm not trying to be disrespectful or anything) loves cats and the community would want them in B: Because dogs are in cats should be in it as well. This is just my personal opinion, I do however would like to see a cat enemy though, that would be very interesting to see.
Valfunde
I think that there could better features.I don't really care about the kubros. I mean, I'm happy to get them but that's not "awesome".

Lawrenciumm
I'm not sure about the whole Kubrow ordeal (To me atleast). Realistically any living tissue would be useless in a space setting such as warframe. One well placed bullet from a simple lancer would kill the kubrow. But that would be to ruff for people, so lets take the immersion away and allow them to take hits like a tank. I'm not a fan of the Kubrow idea, just doesn't fit in my honest opinion. If and when I get mine, I'll simply pretend it's a mech suit with fur attached...I guess.

TheErebus.
Is this confirmed? Like, are they getting battle armor? If so, awesome. In their stats you see that they have a total of 200 ferrite armor, not just the domesticated ones also the feral ones.
Lawrenciumm
Kubrows have ferrite armor, hence why it doesn't take one bullet to take one down. Mind pointing out where you see the armor? I see none. And honestly, their is a reason in the real world we don't use dogs as front line attack units. It makes zero sense. Guns will always outdo the teeth of a dog alien. I remember seeing somewhere that their coats are in fact very hard to break through, hence their stats showing they have 200 ferrite armor. Furthermore, our kubrows are going to be quite powerful against multiple enemies if not then DE wouldn't be putting their time and effort to make them. Plus, sense in warframe? Come on we have planets that somehow shut off life support so I don't think a dog being able to kill something that has a gun is too far.

Lawrenciumm
I remember seeing somewhere that their coats are in fact very hard to break through, hence their stats showing they have 200 ferrite armor. Come on we have planets that somehow shut off life support so I don't think a dog being able to kill something that has a gun is too far. Commenting on the life support: We already have the technology current day to install and take away artificial air, cough cough space shuttles. That can easily be converted to an outside setting as long as the moluecules and disrupter unit permited for it. it is about STATS. They have ferrite armor, just like grineers do. It is not about skin but about stats ffs Firstly, calm down as I can see you're angry. Have a cat cookie. Secondly, I fully understand the stat system, I'm going on about the immersion and realism of having a massive dog being a combat unit. Mechanical robots *Sentinels* are the superior choice if this were real life, which by the way is already being worked on by multiple "Under the radar" corporations. Mechanical robots *Sentinels* are the superior choice if this were real life, which by the way is already being worked on by multiple "Under the radar" corporations. And that's where you are in the wrong. You are bringing real life situations and logic into a game that if it had those, the game wouldn't be fun anymore. The Spectra is a mining laser (which is incredibly hot and can pierce through solid rock and metal appliances) so therefore it should be able to kill nearly everything. You can't bring that form of logic into a game at all. If it was arma we were talking about, I'd agree with you 100%.
